    It's been over a year since The Battle of the Serpent, and Taryn feels it's time she and Jude pay their exiled father a visit. Much to everyone's surprise, Jude agrees. To their even greater surprise, Cardan offers to join.

    It's a family reunion of sorts, but Jude cannot tell whether the father and his daughter shall emerge victorious, or the Queen and her outcast.
