Thorin’s priorities
Summary:
Thorin, as one of the most important kings of Middle Earth, has been invited to the wedding of the King of Gondor. Wandering through the palace, he makes a surprising encounter.
Notes:
Tolkientober 2026, prompt #21: GRATITUDE.
I wrote this fic before the Tolkientober, but since I hadn’t posted it yet I looked if it fitted some of the prompts. This one it’s maybe a bit forced, but I had no other ideas for “gratitude”, so, here it is!
I’m not a writer, English is not my first language and the fic is also unbetaed, so... Sorry! :D

“Not bad.”
Thorin was exploring Gondor’s Palace: he had to admit that for a human construct it was a very fine building. When he had been invited to King Aragorn’s wedding he had accepted with curiosity, since he had heard about the peculiar architecture of Gondor and wanted to see it in person.
He walked alone, sure that everyone else would be outside, but when he entered a nook, he found himself staring at the back of a dwarf that was standing really close to a figure sitting in front of him.
And the dwarf was Gimli, son of Glóin.
