Work Text:
The morning was foggy and dark, the smell of rain making through his second floor awning, his window clouded.
Babubabdaayyyy, his alarm sung loudly. Satoru hit his phone, silencing the alarm for the 3rd time. “Ughh I dont wanna get up” He complained dragging out his complaints. Satoru folded over feeling around for his partner. But we left to no avail.
He had forgotten he was alone, in a hotel room, miles from home, with his love out of reach.
Oh yeah he was here because he had a mission to complete. But damn is he tired though, his eyes are sore from last night, his wrists and thighs are itching, begging to be scratched. The temptation reaching his throat but cut off at the neck, and worst of all he's by himself, Satoru never did well alone.
He liked the feelings that came with being with others, at least he wouldn't be completely alone. The voices of his friends around him, but when's he's alone he's stuck with his thoughts…they dont like him very much.
Satoru glances down at his wrists, temptation almost winning. He looks away sharply, Don't Do It.
The morning just started dont be stupid. Satrou scoffs at himself, come on you can do better. You are the strongest after all, right?
He stands up about to get ready but his head spun as he got up, his heartbeat could be heard from his head. Satoru stumbled a little trying to keep balance in the spinning room around him, Black blotches all around his vision, his head aching. He tries to plant his feet while still stumbling. What the fuck was that. Satoru sits back down slowly
Shit, he didnt forgot to eat last night.
The hotel was quiet other than subtle sounds coming from his tired steps around the room, The faucet turning on,water being splashed on his face. The cold water triggered his sense to wake up again for another more long horrid day.
Not like his last ones were “Horid” just this one, he knew how hard the curses would be to kill. I mean he is the strongest so it'll be an easy feat for him….at least it would be if he wasn't so fucking tierd.
He is the strongest. He is the strongest. He is the strongest. He tells himself trying to nail it in his head, but he can't seem to understand.
But if only he could keep his wrists and thighs clean from bleeding out of his own doing.
He then proceeded to brush his teeth staring at his disappointing silhouette in the mirror, the raw scars staring back. Why'd he do that, he knew others would hate him for it. But why? Why did he choose not to eat?
He doesn't understand…
His eyes looked raw and his skin too looked pale. Same as the rest of his face, he hasn't cared enough to take care of it. Same for his hair, it was oily and knotted obviously not taken care of.
He laughs a little at his sad state realizing how bad it really is…man he really needs to get his fucking act together… Why can't he get it together? He swears he tries, he really does. Sure he's sarcastic and annoying but that's just his personality. And people just LOVE that side of him. He wouldn't be as popular if he hadn't glued that mask to his face. But glue only lasts so long.
Satoru chuckles at his dumb remark
“since when did I learn to think ha,like, okay socrates” he sneers and rolls his eyes. I mean, at least the birds are laughing with him.
He spits out his toothpaste, the minty taste still lingering on his tongue.
Satoru sighs, his chest falling slowly. “I'm so tired" he sighs, dragging out the last syllable.
wishes he was with his love here dragging his hands on his back whispering sweet words in his ear, maybe even leaving a line of marking on his neck, but knows he doesn't deserve it. The angel that blesses his eyes every moment he's with him.
Satoru takes a step out the building, the fog engulfing his lower half as he pulls out his phone. He scrolls through his contacts looking for suguro. “Heading out to mission soon…” he says typing on his phone. Why would suguro want a text itll be fine. He puts his phone away know not to text suguro.
Satoru walks over to Ijihi's car, hoping in and slamming the door shut.
“Oups sorry bout that” He nods off apologizing swiftly, sitting down. “Its okay satoru, we are heading to a small school on the outside of shinjuku, in the suburbs area.” Ijichi stated. If he hadn't had said that satoru would've never remembered.
“Satoru…you good back there?” He asked looking back in the review mirror. The light made a glare on the already foggy mirror so it was hard to tell whether he was sleeping or not.
“My head just hurts, thats all” He said leaning his head on the window.
The car was shaking on the uneven road, the rain pittering on the window,
