Summary
Eight years have passed since Naruto found herself beneath an unfamiliar sky, far from everyone she has ever loved.
In Ellora, she has learned to keep her head down, her past to herself, and her little ramen stall running. It isn't the life she dreamed of, but it's a life nonetheless. One with familiar faces, enough work to fill her days, and quiet evenings spent missing a home she doesn't know how to reach.
Then there is Pavi, a hungry little girl with a cat-monkey at her heels. And Nisha, who finds her own place in Naruto's life.
Naruto knows what it means to grow up with no one waiting at home. She never thought she'd become the person waiting for someone else.
And perhaps the hardest part of finding people to love in another world is knowing she still has people she loves in the one she left behind.
