Chapter Text
The next full moon, Alex took Morgan and Hawk out to the Antarctic base and just let them play in the basement.
It was cute, as always; Morgan kept trying to tear Hawk to pieces like they were dinner, and Hawk was having fun playing with Daddy.
Alex took a sip of their water and gently shrugged Morgan off their shoulder. “Don’t play with me, Morgan,” They said, grabbing them by the scruff and throwing them back into the more wooded area. “Go play with Hawk.”
Morgan let out a low growl and crouched as if he wanted to try and tackle Alex again, but was quickly distracted by Hawk coming out of nowhere and latching on to their back.
Alex smiled as they watched Morgan try to buck Hawk off, hearing the happy clicks of Hawk mixed in with Morgan’s confused frustration. Hawk did always love playing horsey with Daddy.
Eventually, Morgan was too exhausted to keep going and collapsed, body getting ready for the transformation.
Hawk stood over Morgan’s slumped over body victoriously— for all of a minute, before Alex scooped them up.
“C’mere, bud,” Alex said gently, hoisting Hawk into their arms. “Daddy’s too tired to play anymore. It’s back to being gentle.”
Hawk cocked their head to the side, like they were processing the word gentle, before they nodded in agreement.
Alex smiled and snapped their fingers, cleaning Morgan up and putting them back in their bed as they took Hawk for a bath. They were covered in werewolf slobber.
