There’s a line that most Akumas cross quite quickly when they first are created. It’s mostly a line that has been drawn by Hawkmoth but all of them tend to cross it at some point before they end up in Anti-Paris. All any of them want is whatever they were created to want; the skies are the limit, and there’s nothing that an Akuma wouldn’t do for their counter.
Finding out who Ladybug truly is was something that Lady Wifi was created to do. When she failed, Hawkmoth tossed her to the side like a doll that had been worn out. Being sent into the void and forced to fall forever just because she failed to do the one thing that was asked. This is what broke them but that’s not important at the moment.
She was busy at city hall working on a few new meeting points that they have to get through. Also making sure to schedule a bit of time for Stoneheart’s garden, again. Someone really needs to just push the rock Akuma towards Evillustrator to figure that out. Lady Wifi isn’t going to be that person, maybe Dark Cupid would be nice to volunteer? Plans for later.
One piece of paper stuck out and Lady Wifi thought she didn’t have to deal with it. Hawkmoth has been trying to contact them, somehow figuring out about Anti-Paris and has been making headway. She brought it up once before, just before Dark Blade showed up, but she doubt it got through to any of them. None of the first ten wants anything to do with Hawkmoth after what he’s done to them.
Evillustrator is the only one that clams right up and refuses to say anything.
Anyways, she just looked up when Bubbler came walking when the world started spinning and then black. It clings to her and soaks into her skin. Lady Wifi felt her lungs hitch and tears threaten to fall the longer that suffocating darkness held true. Just as suddenly as it happened, it stopped.
A childish voice commands her instead of the gruff voice of Hawkmoth. Something pulls harshly at her skin and she can barely keep herself uncontrolled as she attacks Marinette and demands dolls(?). The icky darkness suddenly snaps back in and Lady Wifi just floats; being forced to let someone else controls her…is this what her counter felt while she was in control?
“Wow! That was so much fun, don’t you think!?”
Lady Wifi blinks slowly and the world comes snapping back into focus. She’s standing in some kind of news studio with a child Akuma that’s happily playing with two dolls that look strangely like Evillustrator and Rogercop. A child Akuma? Lady Wifi is more surprised at how long it took to get one than to actually see one.
“Where am I?” she asks.
“Paris and you’re here to play with me, along with the others!” the child happily held up both dolls towards her, grinning brightly and really doesn’t understand what kind of trouble she was causing. Suddenly, the Akuma brought the dolls down and sighs a bit. “And to get Ladybug and Cat Noir’s Miraculous for Hawkmoth.”
“Is Hawkmoth talking to you right now?” Lady Wifi said quietly, unsure if Hawkmoth can hear her or not. She really doesn’t want that madman to find out that they have more free will than he’s been led to believe so far. The child shakes her head and Lady Wifi continues. “Good, can you keep the fact that we talked between the two of us?”
Another nod.
Puppeteer went back to talking about what game they are going to play with the heroes and seemed to have forgotten about Lady Wifi for the most part. It’s worrying how quickly Puppeteer can change her mood but might be useful, if not for Lady Wifi then for the heroes. She may not like Ladybug and Cat Noir but that doesn’t mean that she wanted Puppeteer’s counter to be stuck like this forever. Both girls should have the chance to have fun in their own worlds.
Thankfully, it was easy to convince Puppeteer to give herself and her friends more free will to do what they want. Not that they really need it but the trio had it for so long that being stripped of it might cause some kind of damaged. Lady Wifi does not want to see the hurt on Evillustrator’s face over having no control over himself.
Plus, following Puppeteer is a bit nicer than listening to Hawkmoth.

Things went smoothly and the heroes won. Nothing new really. A little unsettling being back in Paris but nothing to talk about back home.
Lady Wifi gasps and rolls so as to not throw up everywhere, thankfully that didn’t happen. A hand on her back draws her back to the here and now; Bubbler looks worried and seems to want to do something but waits until Lady Wifi is comfortable again…which is very sweet.
It took a second before the Akuma is back to her feet and can see without black spots. The door had suddenly been thrown open and Dark Cupid came walking in with Puppeteer in hand. The two seem to be in the middle of a conversation that’s going too fast for Lady Wifi to keep up.
“Are you sure that you are okay?” Bubbler ask. “You did pass out and disappeared for hours.”
“I’m fine but I think I need to sit down for a bit.”
Lady Wifi takes her seat once more just as Puppeteer notices her. The happy-go-lucky Akuma suddenly has her head down and holding herself tightly, graining a confused look from Dark Cupid since she was just holding his hand. Anti-Paris’s first child Akuma. None of them know how to take care of a kid, let alone an Akuma child. But it’s just another thing being added to the listening.
That and Stoneheart’s floating garden.
“Puppeteer?” The Akuma’s head snaps up and stares worriedly up at her. “As long as you promise not to take over Anti-Paris then we can have your party. Bubbler will even help you plan it?”
Bubbler gasps and whips around to face Lady Wifi. “We’re having a party!? Yes, it’s been forever since I planned one.” He points at Puppeteer, earning a soft shocked laugh. “You and I are going to plan the greatest party Anti-Paris has ever seen.”
“As long as it’s Wonderland themed, right?” Puppeteer asks, almost seeming to taste the ground that she has.
“Wonderland?” Bubbler pretends to think about it before nodding his head. “That’s is very much doable. Come on, we got work to do!” The Akuma suddenly stops and looks down at Lady Wifi again. “You can take Puppeteer to Evillustrator later, there’s far too much planning to do for the time to waste.”
“Take Timebreaker with you.” Lady Wifi watches Bubbler and Puppeteer head out of the meeting room, both excited and talking loudly about their plans. Then she looks at Dark Cupid. “I have a job for you.”
The Akuma snaps his attention at Lady Wifi, already moving to stand straighter and ready to take on any job that Lady Wifi has to offer.
“Later, take Stoneheart to Evillustrator to get his floating garden figured out.”
Dark Cupid sighs dramatically as his wings sag down. “Seriously? Anyone can do it – no, I’ll do it just to prove to the rest of you how easy it is.” The Akuma picks himself back up and quickly heads to the door. “You hear me, Wifi. I’m not taking this challenge lightly!”
“Never doubted that you wouldn’t.”
Wow, that was easier than she thought. Why did they not do that in the first place?
The room becomes quiet with only the soft sounds of music from outside. Lady Wifi turns back to the paperwork that she left behind and quickly decided to go help Bubbler and Puppeteer with their party planning. Especially since they’ll need Evillustrator help at some point.
For one moment, she wonders what Hawkmoth has up his sleeve. The Akumas are ready to take on anything but the unknown is driving them insane.
Lady Wifi shakes her head, throwing the thought away for now, before slamming the door shut as she walks out.
