Phil scrolls through his recent messages frantically.
Dream: Phil?
Dream: we need your help
Dream: Tubbo's missing

Dream: Phil, please
Dream: we think something took him

Dream: PHIL
Philza: how soon can you get to my place?
Dream: thank god, give us 20 minutes
Phil put his comm in his pocket and rushed back downstairs to Tommy still sitting by the counter with his head buried in his arms.
"Tommy, go get your brothers please" Phil says as he goes to get the now burned pancakes off the stove.
"Why, you know they hardly function in the morning" Tommy says as he lifts his head.
"Something's come up, I need them down here, Dream will be here in half an hour"
Tommy suddenly looked much more awake, and scrambled to go get his brothers up. Several loud thumps and a lot of muffled yelling later Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy all came down the stairs as Phil finished plating pancakes.
"Alright boys, eat as fast as you can without throwing up, Dream will be here in like 15 minutes"
Wilbur looked perplexed. "What's Dream coming for? Tommy gave us some deets but not much."
"To be honest" Phil sighed "I don't know much either Dream didn't say much, all I know is Tubbo's missing."
"Tubbo's missing!?" Tommy shrieked standing up in his chair.
The boys looked much more attentive now.
"we will know more when he gets here, eat now, i get the feeling it'll be a bit til we can again." Phil says
"fine," Tommy says reluctantly sitting back down and drowning his pancakes in syrup.
A few minutes Dream, Sapnap, and George showed up.
Dream walks into the kitchen with a grim look on his face.
"Dream?" Tommy says
Dream stands in the doorway a smiles lightly, it doesn't reach his eyes. "hey Tommy"
As George and Sapnap sit down Phil speaks
"alright, what happened?"
"me Sap and George went out monster hunting, Tubbo was in his room when we left" Dream begins, still standing in the doorway. "we came back around sunrise, Tubbo, wasn't in the house, or anywhere around."
"there we're huge creature tracks everwhere" George adds "I've never seen anything like them before they-"
"hold on" Wilbur cuts in, grabbing his communicator "did they look like this?" he asks showing them the screen.
"y-yeah" answers George "where are these from?"
"around our house" Wil answers
"It's been here?" Dream inquires incredulesly
"it followed me home from the village nearby a couple days ago" Techno says
Dream moves to sit down "fuck" he breathes
"more crucially, we've seen it" Phil says opening his comm now and showing it to them.
"holy shit" Sapnap says
"what the fuck is that Phil!?" George asks
"We aren't sure, i've never seen anything like it before." Phil admits, leaving his comm open on the table.
"so, if it took Tubbo, how'd Techno get so close without it going after him?" Dream ponders "that means Tubbo's probably okay, right?"
The room is quite for a beat.
"it's only showed aggression once before and that hardly lasted long, i think Tubbo has pretty good chances" Techno reassurs Dream.
"so" Phil sighs "what do we know, we need a plan of action for getting Tubbo back."
"i get a feelin this is going to be even harder than what we're all thinking." Techno mutters
"how so?" Tommy asks, looking over to Techno
"the damn thing can teleport" Techno states
"what the fuck" Sapnap breathes out.
"It's pretty large too, like 3 feet taller than Techno when it stands up" Phil adds
"don't forget the possible sentience" Wilbur cuts in
"yeah, and that" Techno agrees.
"so, it's fucking huge, has claws, can stand on 4 legs or 2, is possibly be sentient, and it can fucking teleport." George says, disbelief heavy in his tone "did i miss anything?"
"no, that about covers it" Techno says
"well" Phil says, standing up "we aren't gonna get any closer to getting Tubbo back by just sitting here, everyone grab your gear and anything else you'll need to last outside at night get back here in 5" Phil states
They all disperse.

Tubbo and Ranboo approach the cabin, the bees are buzzing around pleasently outside.
Tubbo moves up to the door and walks inside, motioning for Ranboo to wait. Ranboo resigns himself to sitting in the grass to wait for Tubbo.
"Dream?" Tubbo calls from somewhere in the house.
"Sapnap?"
"George?"
Tubbo emerges from the cabin a moment later, "their boots are gone" Tubbo says
Ranboo tilts his head in asilent question.
"They're not here" Tubbo mutters looking up at the sky, the sun hung high, it must've been nearly noon Ranboo notes. "they should be back by now" Tubbo said.
"This is pretty wierdchamp big man" Tubbo says as he walks down the stairs to stand in front of Ranboo. Tubbo's brows furrow as he thinks. "I wonder if they stopped by to Phil's" Tubbo wondered aloud. "They do that sometimes"
Tubbo looked up at Ranboo, "could you take me to Phil's?"
Ranboo had no idea who Phil was, he stared at Tubbo blankly.
"you haven't met Phil?" Tubbo inquires
Ranboo nods
"hmmm" Tubbo turns to point away towards pinky's Techno's cabin. "he lives in a cabin over there with his sons, Tommy, Wil, and Techno" Tubbo grins.
Ranboo perked up at Techno's name, if he had to hazard a geuss he'd say green was Phil.
"Do you know where that is?" Tubbo asks hopefully.
Ranboo nods
"Fuck yeah!" Tubbo shouts pumping his fists on the air.
Ranboo's ears pin back at the outburst, fuckin ouch.
Tubbo notices Ranboo's discomfort and sheepish look crosses his face. "sorry"
Ramboo grumbles.
"can you take me to Phil's?"
Ranboo didn't see why not, he nodded in agreement.
He grabs Tubbo gently and focuses on the other cabin, the stables, the garden, the shed, and closed his eyes
'vwoop'
They appeared just outside of sight of the cabin.
Tubbo walks up to the cabin with Ranboo, doing the same as before, Tubbo walked up while Ranboo stayed, Tubbo knocked.
No answer
He knocked again, harder this time.
Silence
Tubbo turns to Ranboo
"Where the fuck is everyone?"

After everyone returned to the kitchen Phil gives the all clear to go, they make the trec to the Takeen house at their brisk pace they made it there a bit before noon.
When they made it, Phil made the order to spread out, he asked Wilbur and George to see if they could pick up a trail.
A few minutes later Wilbur called everyone over, a trail of the creature's tracks went from the field around the house out into the woods.
Once everyone got there, they began to follow it.
They crested a hill about 3 miles from the house. They we're about to begin their decent before Tommy pointed to something about a half a mile off in the distance.
Everyone turned to look.
Sapnap, Dream, and George froze.
The creature was standing there, a moment later they spotted Tubbo there to.
Alive
thank the gods
It looked like Tubbo was talking too it, they we're to far away to have a chance of hearing anything.
BLINK
Barely visible purple particles where all that remained.
they fucking disappeared
