adam - bro come on hes such a huge taylor swift fan, it was mentioned more than once. not only that though but hes like invested in allll her lore. for example, he flat out refuses to listen to kanye (king shit), he follows her like on all social media, and hes super invested in her fanbase. but we cant have him listen to just one person because Boring so i see him as loving a lot of woman artists (they sing about their relationships and hes a silly gay dude) like lana del ray, ariana grande, aurora, and rihanna. some of the dude artists he listens to are bruno mars and charlie puth. so all in all, adam likes pop
bree - harry styles is the taylor swift to her adam this is literally canon. on top of that, she looooooooves a ton of boy bands (they sing about THEIR relationships and shes a silly lesbian) like one direction, bts, big time rush, and the backstreet boys. she listens to a lot of energetic music while shes on her solo runs and just goes ferallll but like superspeed mode. she also loves the bad bitch songs by like doja cat, megan thee stallion, and taylor swift
leo - i am so ready to self indulge in this one GOD. ok so out of his siblings, i feel like leo has the most (for lack of a better word) chill taste in music not gonna lie. like if any of them had their music playing in their rooms, leo’s is the easiest to be there as background noise, not because its boring but because its the most chill like you could chill to this. bree and adam’s music tastes are too energetic and we’re gonna get to chase’s in a bit. ANYWAYS, leo definitely listens to like tyler the creator, aaryan shah, tupac, biggie smalls, the weeknd, blackbear, kendrick lamar, childish gambino, and eminem. basically his style is 90s rap/just rap in general/hip hope/r&b. his not-so-guilty-pleasure artist is beyoncé LIKE HE DEADASS NAMED HIS FISH AFTER HER and like come on, how could he NOT love the queen of r&b?
kaz - please omg kaz definitely listens to fucking lil nas x (king shit pt 2), dont ask me how i know but i know. but, he also grew up with like a plethora of sisters so some artists he picked up along the way were marina (his personal favorite out of his sisters’ tastes), lady gaga, britney spears, and miley cyrus. i also feel like kaz is into latin music for some reason like i literally dont know why but i know bro knows all the lyrics to like mi gente or some shit. bradley steven perry also mentioned on a hit the breaks podcast episode that hes italian so maybe that could work its way into kaz’ music taste somehow. latin artists include the most popular ones of course like bad bunny, j balvin, ozuna, and SHAKIRA
oliver - oh dude come on he so listens to like classic artists like the beatles, david bowie, queen, abba, john lennon, pink floyd, and syd barrett. idk just everything about him just has to scream rich, white, and product of divorce. beyoncé is the one exception like remember when he heard horace in the shower and was like “he is butchering beyoncé” LMAOOO also he also definitely owns vinyls and a record player
marcus - LITERALLY MY FAVORITE SILLY LITTLE EMO BOY like omggg he definitely listens to the most punk, emo, and alt z shit. he fucking lovessss parents by yungblud (even if i think its kaz’ song BECAUSE IT IS, its also marcus’ song because they have plenty of parent/daddy issues to go around). his entire personality is literally my chemical romance, linkin park, fall out boy, green day, and pierce the veil
skylar - shes an alien whos had no other goal in life but to be a hero. she doesnt have a specific music taste because shes never gotten into music. therefore, all of the songs she listens to are stuff shes picked up from mainly kaz and oliver but now that shes joined the elite force, chase and bree are starting to influence her music taste too. shes just a little bit of everything, yknow? shes also starting to get more and more into music like whenever they wanna feel normal and they just drive, the radio is always on and she picks some stuff up from there too. her music taste is basically her friends + billboard top 40 hits
chase - ok i said this was gonna be in order of easiest to hardest to sort but honestly, everyone has been pretty easy for me to decipher up until this mf right here. ughhhhdhgidhf hes just so many things !!!! hes my smart little academia aesthetic pookie and i want his music taste to highlight that but he also canonically enjoys playing rock music and billy unger likes sooooo many like rock artists and i want chases character to reflect that too. the one thing i will NOT have chases music taste be (even though its a popular hc for him) is CLASSICAL. i absolutely despise classical music and i am self indulging in his taste too much to accept that chase mfing davenport likes classical music. idk i just feel like he likes stuff thats more robust yknow? like he even told marcus hes always wanted to play the guitar and then their band started playing rock songs immediately LIKE COME ON he is not a fan of classical i will die on this hill. ANYWAYS, getting into what he is a fan of. for chase, his music taste reflects rainy weather and the cool, crisp, foggy/dewy fall mornings. that being said, bro definitely listens to stuff like the neighbourhood, arctic monkeys, chase atlantic (haha get it), half alive, and mgmt. now this is the academia part of him, now to get into his rock personality. bro also listens to green day, nirvana, and guns n roses. like oliver, chase also owns vinyls and a record player
