Chapter Text
Toritsuka silently curses himself for ever liking the psychic exposer. He knew he was working his way up to Saiki. He knew Saiki never wanted anyone to know about his powers. Yet when he came to tell everyone about his powers, he didn't think about how he would come after Saiki. Some friend he was. He could've lied and said he didn't. Destroying everyone's confidence in the man, or helping cover Saiki up, or at least doing something to get them out of the situation they are in now.
With Saiki beside him increasingly becoming panicked, an expression he's never seen him do before.
He's practically trembling under the spotlight as everyone looks at him.
He knew Saiki hated attention but not like this. Even everyone in the friend group was staring, despite his discomfort.
Toritsuka grits his teeth as he scowls at the man on stage.
Even many of the ghosts around have stopped what they are doing to poke and prod at Saiki.
Saiki seemed to reach a breaking point as Toritsuka opened his mouth to speak.
He disappears, teleporting.
Well, that throws out lying to everyone.
The auditorium riots.
No one can believe its Saiki of all people, the most ordinary man.
Sure weird things happen to him, but people chalk that up to those who follow him as friends.
Toritsuka scowls harder when he sees the man become even smugger when he saw Saiki in such a panic.
He's had enough.
Standing up, he quickly makes his way to the stage, ignoring everyone around him rioting, shouting about how it's Saiki, how he's been here the entire time, and how he's hidden it.
Toritsuka glares at the man who's turned to the live stream laughing as he tells more people about his friend.
Toritsuka stomps on the stage. He can see his friends watching as he does that, quickly scrambling up before anything can happen.
Toritsuka rolls up his sleeves as he continues his march. It's steady, like a march to war.
When Toritsuka makes it to the man, he punches him in the face sending him sprawling. He's quickly grabbed by Kusoyasu and Kaidou before he can do more damage.
"What the hell! You knew he didn't want this!" Toritsuka shouts at the man holding his jaw still on the floor.
"Wait, Toritsuka, you knew?" Kaidou asks, still holding one of his arms back.
"Of course, I knew! I also know Saiki hates attention! Why'd you have to send the entire world at him!" Toritsuka shouts the second part at the man, who is now dusting himself off.
"Well, it's not fair to keep these powers to ourselves, right?" The man asks, "I thought you got it."
"What? Just because we have powers, we have to be watched? Just because we have powers, revealing them to the world is okay?" Toritsuka rips his arm from Kaidou, sending him stumbling into the live stream setup.
The camera, computer, and electronics go flying, breaking all of them.
Good. Toritsuka distantly thinks. At least that gets some attention off of Saiki. A bit too late though.
Hairo joins his on stage, for once not using his usual upgoing, everyone-can-do-it attitude.
Instead, helping get Kusoyasu off him, letting him freely move his arms, and puts a steady arm on his back.
He pays no mind to Teruhashi joining the group on stage, followed by Yumehara and Mera.
"At least I was okay with you 'exposing' me! How many other people have you outed against their will! I thought you were just going after people who wanted to be out." Toritsuka scowls, not stepping forward even as Kaidou rejoins the group.
Toritsuka huffs and stomps offstage.
"Where are you going?" Hairo asks quickly, stopping him from leaving.
"Saiki's house, where else," Toritsuka growls, still angry but unwilling to snap at his friends.
Hairo nods approvingly and follows after him. He spots Kusoyasu grab the psychic exposer and drag him off.
Good.
Toritsuka channels his inner Saiki as much as he can with the following words that come out of his mouth.
"Good grief”
