Hi, everyone! Sorry for the huge gap in updates. Life happened and I've been busy. On one hand, school's out and I finally have time to work on personal ventures! On the other, these personal ventures also take up a lot of my time.
To summarize, Deep Blue Diadem is NOT being dropped. I still love this story and I'm proud of what I had so far, but I'd like to rework it. This was originally planned to be a long multi-chapter fic with Plot, but that format made me feel pressured to regularly update and I've spent the past 6 months or so beating myself up for not having time to do so. I also had no idea what the overarching plot was going to be other than "Dain therapy arc."
So, I'm reworking it to better suit my schedule and the way I want to explore this story's universe. Deep Blue Diadem will now be published as a series. Multi-chapter fics will likely still happen, but they'll probably be shorter. Single stories will probably be more common. Still not sure about plot, but stories will likely be more light-hearted and focus more on slice-of-life stuff and character relationships. In other words, fluffy feel-good stuff with some hurt and a lot of comfort. Canon already hurts us enough.
Sorry again if you were hoping for a new chapter. But I hope this still makes up for that!
