Chapter Text
Alright, folks. Here is the sitch.
1. I move into my dorm in three weeks and start classes in four.
2. I’m kind of having a mental health crisis. I don’t know whether it’s the adjustment period for the new antidepressant or I’m just taking a nosedive, but it’s happening. I am in no danger, don’t worry, but it still sucks.
3. I got my online friend to beta read this fic and she pointed out that I am way too afraid to diverge from canon, and I realized that I should be taking more risks with this fic. I mean, Kaz and Inej are not the same people, and they shouldn’t be doing the exact same things.
4. Baldur’s Gate 3 drops on Thursday, and that’s going to be taking up all my free time till I leave.
All of this combines to mean that I’m going on hiatus. I will return at some point, and when I do, I will be settled into college, hopefully feeling better about myself, and chances are, I’ll have made substantial edits to the fic. Until then, busy yourselves by listening to the playlist I made for the fic. It’s just kind of any songs that gave me the vibe, so if you have any that give you the vibe, tell me and I might add them! Also, write some sapphic Kanej while I’m gone; I can’t fill this void in the fandom all on my own.
