Hey everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by and reading Piercing Quiet! As my first fan fiction piece, I was nervous about the kinds of comments I would get and whether or not I would finish the story. Thankfully, the comments have been nothing but kind and I am so glad that there are others enjoying my writing. I cannot express how happy I felt when I got that first comment from Foodmoon, and then the hits started ticking up, and AHHH suddenly 4,247 people have clicked on my fic! It was a wild feeling of validation that kind of surprised me, as I really struggled with English classes in school, yet here I am writing. Once again, I cannot thank you all enough for the kind words and reads.
Unfortunately, and don't we all hate that word, I have fallen out of motivation to write this fic at a steady pace, and have found myself staring at the layout more often then writing in it. My Hero Academia has been my hyper-fixation since 2019, but somewhere along the way these past few weeks, I've been going back to an older hyper-fixation from 2016, and MHA lost its hold on me. Don't get me wrong, I still adore the series, but I'm finding it harder to write the scenes and characters to the depth they deserve in a timely manner. I will still be writing this fic, due to a whole layout plan I have, but it will be slow going. I also may end up never finishing it, as I am graduating this June and will be going to college. At NC State's design school for industrial design no less!! But with a studio based major like that, finding the time and energy to sit and write like I have been will be much more difficult. I also fear that once MHA ends, I'll be out of touch with it, but given I'm back at Voltron Legendary Defenders of all things 💀, I'm sure I'll find a way to finish this fan fiction.
