Hey everybody! Just letting you know I posted the first chapter of my little Avengers spin-off! I figured I'd post a quick update here in case people didn't see it! I'll take this down in like a day or two!

So yeah, that's the first chapter! I'm going to be following the comics for the first few arcs for a little bit, with my own divergences and character arcs. There will be some influence from the Ultimate universe, especially with the X-Men and mutants in general, but not the really bad and edgy parts that literally nobody liked. There is also only going to be one single piece of MCU influence in this, and that's Ned Leeds, because he is waaaay more interesting in the MCU movies than he is in the comics. It's also because I'm just not really interested in the MCU, as I have mixed feelings on it, even the movies that came before endgame.
I'll drop all pretenses and say this fic is very self indulgent for me. I love spiderman, and I need more transbian content in my life. I couldn't find much in fandoms that I am a part of, so I had a "fine, I'll do it myself" moment and started making this. Originally I was going to start out with the origin story and slowly make my way to the college years, but as I was writing it, I realized that 1. I hated it. And 2. Everybody knows the origin, and knows how any spider-man/woman/girl/pig/punk got to this point, so I decided to drop right into the college years instead. I think it's for the best this way, because waaaaay too many people, wether it be in fics or official spiderman media, focus on the high school years when, in real life, Amazing Spiderman only had Peter in High School for roughly 3 years, from 1963 to 1965, before he graduated in issue 28! To be completely honest, I think Peter was a lot more interesting as a character during the college years than when he was in High School. Anyways, hopefully this doesn't completely suck and anyone reading this enjoys it.
If anyone actually reads this please leave your critiques in the comments, I'm trying to improve my writing so anything helps.
