I’ve been following posts by user @starcr0ssed after they started mentioning my favourite ghost youtuber Melanie King of Ghost Hunt UK, and that user just had an interaction with a username I thought I recognized: @js460347. 1/?

And I was RIGHT. Whoever this guy is, he’s had a *number* of interactions with ghost *podcaster* Georgie Barker of What The Ghost! Although vague, interactions suggest that they have been friends for a number of years. 2/?

Melanie and Georgie have previously worked together and their interactions prove that they’re probably good friends, but I have no idea where this random new archives guy fits into the picture. 3/?

no, I was not aware that the archives guy had been kidnapped. I hadn’t seen him in a long time, but I thought that was probably related to the false murder charges? like, he was taking a vacation or something

so I do have an archives update, but it’s a grim one. archives guy is apparently in a coma, one of the archives assistants (at least I think that’s what she was? she seemed involved, anyway) is missing, and another one is in the hospital. no, I don’t know what happened, and I’m not going to ask

okayyyy less depressing but no less weird work update - we got a replacement for the murder boss and… nobody has seen him. not a single person.

basically the new boss (new company head after the old one was arrested on murder charges, if you don’t follow me) has started putting out a bunch of new policies and renovations and stuff

and no none of us really see him still btw. but basically they just installed these soundproof cubicles and we’re not allowed to share lunch breaks anymore or even have meetings

it’s just… kind of isolating tbh and I’m so glad I have friends outside of work who have been coming to visit me. because if I didn’t have them this would be like realllllly getting to me. it still kind of is if I’m honest

some of you are asking and no, I’m still not going to ask them what happened. nobody is dead or missing anymore, but they probably ended up traumatized in some way from whatever happened

remember, archives guy was in a coma for a long time (and has apparently been kidnapped a lot too??), and one of the assistants got super scarred when the other went missing. I’m not going to ask them to talk about any of that just for twitter

I’m still getting used to having less ribs. It’s far from the weirdest thing to have happened to me, but it’s still an odd sensation.

Using a side account to say this because my friends and family follow my main and they’ll think I’m crazy. But a few years ago I had this weird experience that to this day I’m pretty sure was supernatural.

Anyway this is relevant because the other day I was just walking down the street when some guy stopped me and asked me about it? Like, I swear I’ve never met this guy before and like I said I’ve never told anybody irl about the zombie thing either, so there’s no way he could have known.

But he just walked up to me and asked me about it. And I told him. It was like I was hypnotized or something. And he didn’t blink even once, and we were standing there for like fifteen minutes.

Then when I’d said the whole story (still just standing in the middle of the sidewalk) he just blinked and said “thank you” and left.

To be perfectly honest it was actually a great relief to finally say this all out loud, so it wasn’t as bad as the zombie experience by far. Except that now whenever I dream about the zombies he’s in the dreams just staring at me. Every single time.

And irl he looked like just a normal guy but in the nightmares he’s just. Staring at me. And not just with his eyes, ALL of him is just STARING at me and he WON’T STOP STARING

Probably just continue to keep it to myself to be honest. This isn’t any less crazy than the zombie story and I’m not interested in telling anybody about this when they will probably just think I’m crazy. And I can’t even blame them.

But if your’re reading this, I swear I’m not making any of this up. I mean, I have like two dozen followers and most of them are bots, why would I? But the supernatural is real and it’s out there and sometimes it’s zombies but apparently sometimes it’s also random people on the street who go on to haunt your dreams.

You're not incorrect, but I think we can all still be greatly relieved that this particular plan was thwarted. If he had succeeded things would be much, much worse. However, I admit that we are still rather trapped, and I still understand if you still want to free yourself from your job fully. I know I almost made the same decision.

…so um. my old boss is back. yes, the sexist head of the company one. apparently he walked free of the murder charges too (although unlike with archives guy I’m not convinced he’s actually innocent, but whatever not like I can do anything about it)

*everything* is kind of… different now, though. like, the boss isn’t really communicating with us at all, but the weirdest thing of all is that the archive staff seem like… kind of normal now?

WELL. okay. that isn’t true. the other day I saw archives guy in person (for payroll reasons) and I asked him a simple question right. and he just… started monologuing in this weird tone. then one of his assistants came into the room and loudly said his name and he seemed to snap out of it.

but what I mean is I hadn’t even noticed that *everyone* in archives was all SO TENSE like ALL THE TIME? and they always kept to themselves. but now they all actually seem *happy* and, like… *free*? it’s hard to describe
