Chapter Text
We ran down the hall and out into the parking lot. It was pure chaos. People were screaming, things were on fire, and the sky was full of ash. Rubble was everywhere.
“The hell is going on?” someone to my right shouted.
“Tyler! Over here!” Conner yelled to Tyler.
Tyler jogged over to Conner with a small look of wonder. I watched them warily. They had soot stuck in their hair, one of its hands was burned, and they looked at me as if I was an angel. It was… creepy weird, to say the least.
“Who’s she?” Tyler asked Conner.
“Oh her? That’s Lydia. Trust me, you don’t want to try whatever you are thinking of trying,” Conner told Tyler.
“Who is this extra?” I questioned.
“Extra? I will have you know that I am no ‘Extra’!” Tyler hissed in defence.
“Oh my- Lydia, this is Tyler. Please be nice so we do not have yet another issue on our hands,” Conner sighed.
“Tch, whatever,” I scoffed.
“What issue would we have if she kept being a bitch?” Tyler asked.
“Your death,” I said bluntly while smiling.
“ANYWAY! Let’s go find out what the heck is actually going on,” Conner said before Tyler could ever talk.
“What do we know so far?” Tyler asked, giving up on insulting me.
“All I know is that apartment building fell,” Conner pointed towards where the majority of the rubble was, “but we don’t know what caused it to happen.”
“Lydia??” I heard a familiar voice shout. Over all of the screaming and crying from the people surrounding us, that one voice I heard over all.
I turned towards the direction of the shout and through the ash and smoke I saw my pop running towards me.
