Kaiser decided to cook something for Yoichi so he looked for a tutorial on YouTube and tried to follow the instructions step by step.
The puppy he rescued last night came to him running awkwardly as he was still so little and barking.
“Oh hey little guy” Kaiser picked him up and fed him a small piece of sausage he was using and the puppy ate it with gusto “good boy” he smiled and cut some more for him, putting them in a bowl and put it on the floor with some water next to it.
He smiled keeps cooking, mumbling a song from his secret playlist

Isagi woke up and looked from his room at the kitchen, his apartment had an open concept which connected kitchen and the living room, allowing a whole view from his bedroom’s door to the kitchen and he smirked as he was hearing Michael singing a love song.
The puppy was eating happily and suddenly Michael said softly to the puppy “you know little guy… I love Yoichi but I’m a coward… I look all confident and shit… but in the end I’m just that kid from Berlin who is afraid to feel…”
Yoichi bit his lip softly, this man was stubborn as fuck and he loved him too but he can’t make a move until he make the final call.
Then the little dog barked at him and ran awkwardly at him “guten morgen!” Said Yoichi picking up the puppy “you need a name and papa Yoichi is going to find a good one for you” he said walking with the dog, scratching his neck with his fingers softly.
Kaiser was frozen on the spot when he heard his voice “good morning Yoichi” he said playing it cool as the boy walked in “how did you sleep?” He asked as he leaned to the kitchen to see what he was cooking.
“Pretty good, thank you. What about you?” he asked, leaning his shoulder on his back and looking at him with a smile.
“I...I sleep good as well,” he said, blushing.
“I see you are cooking Micha and it smells pretty good” said Yoichi and he kisses his back, teasing him.
The puppy was waving his tail, pretty entertained by this.
“Need my help with anything, Micha?” He asked Kaiser, he was a little bolder now that he knows Kaiser’s true feelings.
“S...sure. make some toasts and made the coffee”
“I have a coffee maker. Do you want Expresso or anything else?”
“Hmm... I want a cappuccino” he told Isagi as he was putting a capsule for him and getting Kaiser’s then making the toasts.
Meanwhile Kaiser’s cellphone was playing Teenage Dream, which surprised Isagi since he didn't expect Michael Kaiser to have that music taste.
Kaiser, predicting Isagi's thoughts, said “that's Jessie's playlist” but Isagi knows her music taste and she is more into Sabrina Carpenter and K-Pop but he didn't say anything.
“I'm not judging the playlist Micha. I don't mind those songs” he said putting the other capsule in the machine for Kaiser “did she call you?”
“Yes but I decided to turn off my notifications. I want to have peace today” said Kaiser, putting the food on their plates then a Japanese song began and Yoichi was shocked.
It was an old anime opening, Slam Dunk. Isagi once watched some chapters with Niko who was assigned as his roommate for one of the FIFA dates for the World Cup. And he finished it back in Germany.
He started to sing it softly and now, Kaiser was impressed by it “I didn't know you could sing, Yoichi”
“That song is beautiful and I like it a lot. The translation of the title is “I want to shout out that I love you” and the whole song is about how the protagonist is in love with someone but this girl just doesn't realize it” he said looking at Kaiser “and how he die to tell her, to touch her hand, to feel her close to him and never let her go”
“That's a deep song for an anime about basketball, don't you think?”
“Nah, because everything started with the main character joining because of her, later he falls in love with basketball”
“If you said so, Yoichi” he said, turning to see Isagi who was picking up the two cups for them and headed to the table.
“What about we watch today? We don't have practice and this year we won't have a match on New Year's day” his big dark blue eyes looked at him.
“Sure, sounds like fun” they went to eat and chatted about what Yoichi was planning for New Year's Eve.
When they were done Isagi stood up “I will be washing the dishes, meanwhile you look for the anime I told you about and let's watch it” the German player stood up and walked to the living room as Isagi looked at him.
Then Isagi walked to the kitchen and washed them, smiling as his phone was still playing love songs. He checked the playlist name and smirked because it was called “My secret playlist”
After this Isagi joined Kaiser with his phone in hand “ready?”
“Before we begin, I wanted to ask you something”
“Sure”
“Are you planning on leaving Bastard?”
Isagi realized he must have seen Sae's letter “honestly... I have been considering it. I want to try a new league and new challenges”
“Since when were you thinking about this?”
He sighed and made something unexpected even for Kaiser, who learned to understand every move Isagi did. Isagi moved to sit on his lap, facing him “ever since you started to date Jessie and things started to look serious between you two. Look... I want to be clear. I always feel attracted towards you but I thought you never felt the same about me so I have been shallow in everything in order to respect you and your couple. Tommy is a great company but... It's not you ...” said Isagi, looking down “I'm sorry if I made things awkward between us. I might leave Bastard at the end of the season”
When he was about to stand up Kaiser wrapped his arms around him, stopping him from standing up. Isagi looked at him and Kaiser used this to kiss him gently, sweet and slow, things you would never expect from Michael Kaiser.
Isagi was stunned at first but in seconds he kissed him back. Their kiss became more urgent by the minute as Kaiser used his tongue to tease him. Isagi wrapped his arms around his neck.
In the end they removed each other clothes and, in that couch, they made love and it felt like anything else they ever had.
After this Isagi got a blanket for them and cuddle together on the couch.
“If you leave, I will leave too. I don't want to lose this” said Kaiser running his nose on his neck “I want the world know how I truly feel”
Isagi smirked while playing with his hair “and how do you feel?” He teased him.
“Like I won the lottery and like I'm in love with a sexy egoist”
Isagi looked at him and kissed him “and I'm in love with a sexy shitty rose” they laughed and kissed each other some more.
The rest of the day passed by with them watching the anime, kisses, love making and boxes of delivery.
Both of them turned off their notifications, because today, December 29th was their day to enjoy this new feeling.
The next day Kaiser left for his apartment to end things with Jessie and Isagi went to the vet with the puppy and while they checked him he had time to meet with Thomas.
“Tommy, I wanted to talk about something...”
“You are breaking up with me, right?”
“Huh? How...?”
Because of this...” He showed him his cellphone with a headline saying ‘ Breaking News: Michael Kaiser broke up with his girlfriend! ’
Isagi raised an eyebrow and smirked, thinking “ that motherfucker loves drama... ”
“So let's do this already, Yoichi. I know you have feelings for him so I'm not surprised. I will be honest, I was hoping for you to move on but I guess it won't happen. Thank you for this amazing months, it was great”
“I'm sorry Tommy, I tried, I really did but...”
“You can't sweep it under the rug, Yoichi... You were kinda obvious about it but I chose to let it pass, I kind of understand, he's handsome and a superstar” he said looking down “just like you”
Isagi looked down too “I'm sorry and you are handsome and a superstar too... That last point you won was amazing” he smiled and held his hand “thank you” he kissed his cheek. They hugged and walked away from each other.
Isagi reached the vet clinic and there was the puppy running happily towards him “hey little guy” he said as he picked up the small dog.
“He's a bundle of happiness and love. You were lucky to have him” said the vet “we will wait a little longer to castrate him but right he's healthy and had his vaccines” the doctor rubbed his neck “does he have a name?”
“No yet but I have a Japanese word that means happiness, good fortune and blessing... Fuku. Do you like it?” he barks and Yoichi kisses his head “Good boy” the doctor smiled and wrote his name in his file. He paid and left with the puppy in his arms.
Then he walked back to his apartment, after getting food for him and some toys. He arrived at his apartment and found Kaiser there standing by the door, wearing sunglasses and a black tracking suit.
“Looking sexy in black” he teased him as he walked towards him “Hiding from the journalists?”
“Yeah... It’s so annoying” he sighed “Did you end things with Tommy ?” Isagi rolled his eyes as he used a mocking tone when he said his, now, ex-boyfriend's name “Sorry...”
“It’s ok, and yeah. He took it better than Jessie” he said laughing softly and handing him the puppy so he can open the door “I think we better just order some food for us and stay inside until everything calm down”
“Agree” he said walking in with the puppy licking his chin.
“By the way, his name is Fuku” he said, pointing at the dog and he barked excitedly, waving his tail.
“Is that so?” said Kaiser, kissing his head, rubbing his nose on the dog’s neck.
The following days were busy because Isagi helped Thomas take the few things he left in his apartment and Kaiser helped Jessie with hers. In the meantime, Yoichi took care of the New Year’s Eve party. Kaiser helped him to do it, they haven’t told anyone about their relationship yet so they were just enjoying their privacy.
On December 31st, Yoichi’s apartment was full with Bastards players and their couples. There were also Isagi’s friends, even Rin, who was now in the United, was there. They had food and drinks and had a nice evening.
Some minutes before midnight Isagi put the puppy in his bedroom with loud relaxing music so he doesn’t get scared by the fireworks. And at twelve Kaiser decided to let his actions speak rather than his words and kissed Isagi in front of everyone. Hiori was geeking out and letting his Kaisagi community know that their ship is official at last.
The following day, the news was known by everyone around the world. Michael Kaiser and Yoichi Isagi were dating.
