After what feels like hours Katsuki finally gets off the grounds, sighing as he drags his feet back to his own dorm room. He locks the door behind him, suddenly really admiring the texture of the handle beneath his palm, or maybe that's just an excuse to not focus on the burning squeeze in his chest. He sits down on his bed, his body feeling heavy. He pulls out his phone with his 100 LB arm and opens Kirishima's contact slowly. His thumb grazes over the letters until he finally gets a somewhat stable sounding message.
Kat- he asked me to train again
He watches how the message immediately gets read on the other end and that simple typing bubble pops up. For once Katsuki finds himself grateful that Kirishima is a complete phone addict.
Kiri- That's great! When did you guys schedule it for?
Kat- I turned him down
Kiri- Are you serious?! Why would you do that!?
Kat-
Idk
I got this weird ass feeling in my chest like all the fuckin air was being squeezed out of my lungs and it fuckin threw me off
I couldnt fuckin focus the whole time we fought
Kiri-
Bakubro?
That's called a crush..
Kat-

Katsuki closes the conversation with a sigh, he places his phone face down on his nightstand and plugs it in before faceplanting into his pillow with a groan. A crush? On Izuku? That’s absurd, he’s never had a crush on anyone, let alone someone like Izuku. Hell, he didn’t even know what that was even supposed to feel like! What’s one good reason he would even like izuku? It's not like he would return the feelings either way. What? No, that's not important. His head is spinning and he feels dizzy, he doesn’t like izuku, end of story. He should head to bed early, surely he’s just tired anyways. Katsuki closes his eyes with a sigh, hoping this stupid thing is all a dream and he’ll wake up normal tomorrow.
But with izuku, his own concerns about how training went are tearing him apart. When he gets in his dorm room he whips out his phone to text Uraraka, knowing she’ll probably respond faster than his other friends (and probably gives way better advice than someone like Todoroki).

Kacchan asked me to train with him today, and we went out training and it was all super fine and fun but then I asked if he wanted to train with me again sometime and he completely rejected me!

Izuku lays his head down, deciding on texting Kacchan that next morning, it's already 9:50 so he probably wouldn’t get an answer for a while. Despite his head racing, sleep finally finds him.
