Hello everyone! I would like to begin this note by saying happy New Year! It is around that time as I am writing this, so I figured I’d put it here! I hope y’all are fairing well and are getting enough rest. Oh, and thank you so much for sticking around up until this point! I really appreciate your patience with me 🧡
That said, let’s get into business 🫡
This is not a chapter update and for that, I apologize. I’m sure you readers who have stuck with me through these chapters are rather disappointed in that fact. Again, I’m really sorry 😖 As I’m sure you might have seen from the title, I am discontinuing JUST THIS VERSION of my Protagonist Ingo series. But fret not! I am leaving both of the old pieces (or current at the time I’m writing this) up and creating new works. I AM NOT ABANDONING THE PROTAGONIST INGO SERIES! I’ve just realized my storyline needed some maintenance and repairs. I didn’t want to go through this work and do all the editing — that would drive me up the wall — so that is why I am creating new works.
The storyline of the new version and the old version is mostly the same with some changes, so this isn’t a complete overhaul! Just a bit of a rearrangement. I swear the new work is only for my own sanity 🙏🏻 and perhaps for yours too, as I’m sure going all the way back would be annoying 😅 (I’m sorrrryyyyy 😖😖)
As of right now, I am currently working on outlining and drafting the new pieces. I hope to have the first chapters of both Haywire Terminal and Wayword Station back up soon! The rest of the chapters will come in as soon as I can get them finished as well. So, please don’t fear 🫡 I will try to update my progress on my Tumblr page (SwiftSilverFeather there as well), so if you want to stay in the loop, feel free to find me there. If not, I totally understand!
On a similar note, I understand if you want to drop this series altogether. I have not been the most consistent author and I have not done a great job of sticking with this story, which I am sure is very annoying for all of you. I am also fairly sure finishing this series is going to take a little while (though this is the very last time I will be doing something like this, I swear) and waiting through all of that is not fun. If that is how you feel, thank you for sticking with me for this long and I wish you all the best 🧡🧡🧡
