By the time Kota made it back to the dorms and they all trudged off to bed, the video had doubled in views. By morning, it was at five million. By the time Monday rolled around and they filed nervously into Deku-sensei's classroom, bracing for the promised lecture about boundaries and the definitely-promised extra homework, Bakugou Katsuki was already there.
He was leaning against Izuku's desk, two coffee cups in hand, looking far too comfortable in their classroom. When the students entered, he straightened up and fixed them with a glare that would have been terrifying if not for the faint pink tinge to his ears.
"You brats," he said slowly, dangerously, and Kiomi felt her classmates tense beside her, "aren't completely useless."
From behind his desk, Izuku groaned and buried his face in his hands. "Kacchan, you're not helping."
"Wasn't trying to help. Was stating facts." Bakugou handed one of the coffees to Izuku, and the casual intimacy of the gesture — the way their fingers brushed, the way Izuku's expression softened — made the extra homework completely, entirely worth it.
Kota caught Kiomi's eye and grinned. Mission accomplished.
