Summary
It seems as if Cyno is more tired than he thought because his eyes keep closing and every time it happens, getting them open again is harder than the time before.
Cyno tries to filter out the voices, simply concentrating on the cadence of their speech but even that lulls him to sleep.
There is just something about Alhaitham, Cyno distantly thinks. Something about the way he talks, the way he acts that seems calming to Cyno.
Or maybe it simply is the otherwise stillness of the office, he immediately thinks after, refusing to believe that Alhaitham could have any kind of affect on him beyond annoying him.
He smirks at his own thought and then he knows nothing for a while.
“Cyno?”
At hearing his voice Cyno jolts—not awake, because he hasn’t been asleep, thank you very much, but out of whatever kind of trance he had found himself in.

Summary
Arguably one of the most important things Arthur and Paul did as guardians was not to treat Chuuya like a clueless toddler. Despite his tender age, Chuuya had been through things that most people never endure in a lifetime, and thus the two men acted as such towards him. They were honest to him about the events of his past, which led to the creation of their unconventional household.
They trusted him to handle the truth, even the rottener parts of it. The experiments, the god of destruction slumbering within him, the endured trials to conceal him from unsavory hands…and his origins.
It was perhaps a fool’s errand to believe none of the above would come to bite them in the ass somewhere down the line.
“I want to meet my parents.”
Or a teenage Chuuya sheds light to some mysteries of his calamitous past and his legal guardians are tweaking.

Pianoman hits the buzzer. “Stop.”
“What’d I do now?” Chuuya grumbles.
“Your delivery is flatter than Dazai’s ass.”
Okay, that was uncalled for.
After a prank gone wrong, Chuuya has to stage a fake breakup with his fake boyfriend. It’s stupid, awkward, and an utter waste of his time, but (un)luckily for him, his friends won’t be caught dead letting him put on a half-assed production.
