☆ The other mirror shattered at their feet
Which the sound had made Glisten flinch to hug her tighter, and she reciprocates, her digital face flashes a simple heart. Her joints tremble, it is the inner fight between her conciense and instinct, and Vee does her best to not hit him and to make this a nice moment
Nice moment of unnoticeable pain
It was until he was grabbed away and his silhouette slowly blurred like fog...
She hadn't wished to realize, just to hold on a little longer to their peace, she stood there, still holding the position she had when he was still in her arms. Her finger tips tingle until the pain would come sicken her again.
Heartbreak. He was never even there was he?
She looks down at her feet with a saddened expression, looking where the mirror that still didn't leave her laid shattered, that she felt so guilty for breaking such a fragile thing, the only that wouldn't ever leave her
Why would pink ever stay? He wouldn't, she doesn't matter anymore, because she has lost all her beauty such that she is dull and dim
Vee strolls around slowly, aimlessly with her broken mirror in hand
Metal feet clank the wooden floor loudly, drawn brainlessly endlessly. Such like running away from the ones around her, because only she exists and THEY could never understand. THEY are never the same THEY are not her friends. All hoaxes. They are nasty, unspeaking and make her cringe in boredom
Vee despises it here, she scratches at the glass which slightly reflects her new nature, she is so unnerved by it that she bashes her head against the glass. Breaking that window and a small part of her own screen
NO AMOUNT OF PAIN CAN STRIP AWAY THE SADNESS
Then her ichor pours down rapidly, of course, even then she couldn't faint for peace
It doesn't feel useful to move
By such, the elevator opens to a rare sight...
Her, laid and made easy in the middle of the floor. Good, they had came back for her.

☆ Much later, she is chained and contained in a chamber that has a long rectangular glass window, and multiple wardrobes and body paint like it was barely prepared for an arrival plus, to her, it annoyingly smells like perfume
Glisten is unstoppably staring at her from the other side of the window, he really is glad to see her again after so long. And beside him were two other toons, the magnifier and the cake
The pain is so irritating she huddles up in a corner with itching under her skin, desperate for a distraction
Gradually, living becomes less painful as, gradually, her control is lifted away
Everytoon that wasn't twisted like her yet passed by to see her and how she was doing about once or thrice, while Glisten almost practically slept by her side.
...But she never slept, not once, it was so difficult that even the power of the moon couldn't lull her. She was alterning between passive and hostile all the time, and she was so careless. She hasn't all her mind currently
So,
She gets violent towards him sometimes, more times. And still, he always comes back to love her, to says that he loves her, that she is still perfect but she does not believe him
All she understands is her flesh seeking the pain of others
Yet, maybe she does care, she usually refrains from moving when he is around, that must mean she is holding a part of herself alive, must mean that she doesn't dare to make a wrong move and break his fragile face, or maybe she hates him now.. Is that even a possibility?
A tissue cleans the dried up ichor off her metal with a wet cloth the best they can do while the mirror helps too, because everytime Vee is touched, she jerks away, so he holds her hand all the while. With a medkit they bandage her kindly
She is called strong for her body as changed but her mind grasped on being same. Vee was promised by many, an “ operation ” to fix everything about her, to defuse her predicament
When the moment of the operation approached the mirror had gone most anxious, scarily scared that it wouldn't work. And he had already agreed, for that could solve the twisted problem and everyone
For some reason, the flower was already fed up with everything that day, and Glisten wouldn't stop bothering him with being careful and such, which only aggravated them, and they couldn't help snapping at him « Listen Mirror— Either you let me do what I can or you can annoy my ears off so that we can keep her body alive while her mind rots! » They spat angrily, emptying their lungs on that sentence and terrifying their own friend.
Mirror runs away with sobs and suddenly they realizes what they had done • their expression lightens and they regret but they have way more urgent matters to attend that he could instead thank them for...

☆ Glisten, is sitting with his head resting at the bottom of Vee's bed, guarding her and extremely impatient to see her wake up. Though Vee, had not made a single action in six days, like she was in a coma, this had Glisten mad with worry
They had tried switching her batteries every morning, it had not worked. They had tried being noisy and shaking her, it had not worked. They had tried simple conversation, nothing had worked
This had Glisten mad with worry, did she really have to leave? Maybe he shouldn't have trusted the operation after all... He's trying not to sob, he wouldn't like her to see his makeup ran off if she were to wake • He wants to be pretty for her !
Vee boots up, opening her digital eyes as wide as traumatized, but she doesn't feel the itching and the pain. It takes her a moment to understand where she really is, she sits up brusquely
« That was horrible. » She says. Mirror boy heard it, snapping his head up, very impatient to see
They both stare a second. Glisten makes the first move, he crawls up to her, fantasmic. Glisten is shaken with awe, unable to slide her a concrete word
« Pink- G.. Glisten?. I had a horrible nightmare. » Vee says, a slight bit of drama in her monotone voice.
He is so crazy happy, he clasps his hands together and can't help but cry, his tears stream down his face before he can get a sentence out, his makeup trailing down his cheeks now. Glisten sniffles between words « T-This is fantastic-- Yo-You're awake! I were so impatient!... » For every words, more he forgets all he wanted to tell her, the words jumble up in his mind
Unable to comfort him, Vee says instead « So, I assume all of that was not a nightmare... » She hesitates to put a hand on his shoulder, and when she does he breaks down sobbing the hardest he ever could, and he was not exaggerating, because she was finally here. Then she pulls him even closer so that he can properly cry
She displays her signature smirk, her eyes sparkling
« The pain is beatable afterall.. »
Glisten hummed his confusion but she just shushed him...
Nuzzled him... Hugged him lovetight...
And they dozed off again, falling backwards with him
