Chapter Text
(GB POV)
The courses have definitely gotten a buff when it came to difficulty. I am on my way to obtain a PhD after all... Makes logical sense.
"Golfie! Golfie!" I suddenly get caught off guard by warm arms wrapping themselves around my body, accompanied by a head on my shoulder—that stupid Tennis Ball. I often forget he switched universities to join me.
"What?" I sigh in annoyance, even though my expression betrays my cold demeanor by blushing. Yet I don't fight it anymore; on the contrary, I love it.
"Are you excited to get matching 'duo' tattoos on our necks? My dear Golfie?" This clingy partner of mine has been hyped up about it all week, and I don't blame him.
"Maybe. But help me study first." I reply with a hint of softness, kissing his cute face as I force him to sit beside me.
"Aw okay!" Tennie obediently nods, his face flushing into a shade of pink at my uncommon affection, even after all those years.
What I originally deemed as my largest mistake has unintentionally lead me to unexpected inner peace. I can proudly say I adore him and perhaps even myself.
I'm pretty happy with my life.
