the gym was still full of chatter, between my new classmates introducing themselves to each other. honestly, today has been so awesome, i have interacted with the most interesting people i have ever seen!! except for Chase. he is still a little shit-head. but, aside from that everyone has been very cool!
as i take in my surroundings while walking over to Lily and the shorter girl in front of her, i keep noticing little details about the gym, or to be more specific, this school. it was very dead. not like anyone had actually died, but the atmosphere...it felt awfully eerie, like someone in the shadows is watching me, watching every singular step i take, every breath i take in. it must be my imagination, just me being paranoid, but i can't shake the feeling that someone is watching me
but that's clearly impossible, everyone is here!! everyone is very excited!! nothing bad is going to happen, nothing bad is going to happen to us. i'm positive!
i finally made it over to Lily and the greyish haired girl. they seem to be in a very deep conversation, well, what i mean by that is, the shorter girl was rambling on about something and Lily stood there smiling and nodding to every little thing the stern girl said. i walked over to see if one of them would notice me
the grey haired girl noticed me first, and before i even stopped walking. she was BOMBARDING me with her very fast chattering. all i can make out is blablablaFinnleyblablablablablanicetomeetyou and then more blablablas i just COULDN'T keep track of all her bla bla bla blas....
before the shorter girl carried on with her fast spoken words, that seemed like a bunch of jumbled words put together, Lily interrupted her with a soft tone
"uhhh, Grace?? i think you're speaking just a tad bit too fast for Finn's little brain" chuckled Lily as she moved towards the shorter girl, called Grace, within a few steps with the help of her lanky legs. Grace gave Lily a very confused look, with a pinch of her being offended by Lily's statement. as she gave Lily a confused glance with her enchanting cloud eyes as they fell into a squint which hid behind her oval glasses, then it only took a second for her face to change into a look of realisation, which then she turned to me
"my apologies, Finnley. i'm Grace Bennett and i am known as the ultimate tennis player" Grace looked a bit conflicted when introducing herself. i have heard of the small girl!! apparently she is suppose to be really good, and i mean CRAZYYY good at tennis! her moves are always 100% accurate with her play's being perfectly calculated, as Grace was known for calculating the ball to land exactly at the edge of the line, which throws her competitors way far off their own game, following with Grace using some shots that's called jam?? i heard that Grace wins every tournament and wins every game she has ever played since she was 8 years old, not even i started running from age, omg... i'm such a chud... however, Grace leaves a match with an amazing score but her opponent leaves with a big fat zero. no one stands a chance against Grace's massively intelligent mind.

"OH MY GOD!! i heard so much about you!! you've been playing tennis at such a young age?? that's so frickin awesome!!" i praised her, trying to stay on the good side of Grace, because...uhhh...one time grace messed up one of her sets and got so angry that she started throwing equipment around; her racket, chairs, water bottles, her manager. then she turned into a terrifying evil dragon, then started eating people alive, following with the burst of flames coming from the dragons sharp teethed mouth.
i'm not entirely sure if the last part was true or not...but when i stare into those sharp grey cloud eyes that are looking at me with an annoyed glint that could definitely silence me with no words needed. i'm 100% sure the whole dragon thing happened, without any doubt behind it. well, maybe not a dragon. perhaps a vicious chihuahua? who is secretly super nice and super sweet on the inside?? i glance at her judgemental look, and...yeah no she probably isn't super nice and sweet...
"thank you for that statement Finnley, i appreciate your nice words, but tennis is nothing special to an intelligent great mind, as of myself" Grace announced with a dead panned face. she really doesn't seem that interested in tennis does she???
"come on Gracie boo!!! i'm sure you don't mean it!! i'm sure deep, deep, DEEP down in your heart, is that enjoyment for tennis!!" Lily proudly stated while wrapping her long arm around Graces tensed shoulders, as if she is protecting herself from people
"please never call me that again." Grace coldly stated
"okay, yeah i'm sorry, we'll go..." Lily quickly shuddered as she immediately took back her own arm, like she was just burnt with a boiling hot pan from the oven. and quickly pulled me along so we were out of graces view of sight. i don't blame Lily, Grace seems quite the scary one...
"Grace can be very scary at times, but she really is a nice person!! you just have to get to know her better!! because deep down, Grace is a total softy!!" Lily burst out in defence from her sudden act of fear from the shorter girl. I don’t blame her one bit. Grace is someone who you should never cross paths with or you will be gone. For life.

"it's okay my friend!! you are forgiven!! Now let's go over here!!!" Lily's attitude drastically changed from serious to happy in lightning speed. Lily is...something!! she is really really REALLY nice!! but oh my god she can be one scary beast!!
"so who are we going to now????" i questioned Lily, as she was walking around merrily looking around her surroundings with a growing smile, like a person waking up on Christmas i who can't decide on what present to open first
" we are going to my bestest of best friends, Florence!!! she is SO amazing!!" Lily gloated about this Florence person, as her eyes lit up brighter than the sun that orbits the sun

we finally came to a stop. i look up to meet a pair of blinding blue eyes that are just meters away, as i back up a bit to really take in her whole appearance and...wow!! right in front of me was a VERY dolled up girl. she had the most piercing blue eyes i have EVER seen in my whole 16 years on this planet. she was tall as shit too, maybe around the same height as Phoebe and Maxine..?? and those girls were TALL. they might as well be living with the giraffes at this point, my GOD.
my eyes couldn't help but stare at the built up face in front of me, going back to her eyes, they were covered in this white powder, that made her bright blue eyes seem way larger than they actually were, with a hint of pink smudged on top of her eye lid. with tiny speckles of plastic diamonds spread among her cheek bones. and her lips were decorated with a pale white concealer. and her hair. OH MY GOD, it was like a bunch of wigs trampled on top of each other. her hair fell down to the bottom of her back into very thick curls. with her hair being a vibrant hot pink, with the ends fading into a warm yellow colour
then a voice brought me out of my trance
"what? is my blinding beauty too much for you to handle??" the Florence girl snapped out
"huh..? wha-" i managed to slip out before Forence interrupted with another sharp sentence
"yes yes, i know. i am SOOOO hot, no need to say it out loud." Florence started waving her hand about with her other hand laying against her hip
"if you wanted to get to know me you could've just said so, but i guess my beautiful appearance stopped you. well, i'm Florence Aster, the most perfect and charming ultimate designer you're little life has ever met" bragged florence as i could literally see stars in her eyes as she praises herself

"uhh, i'm Finnley Burns..the ultimate runner." i squeaked out, preparing myself if she interrupts me again
"yeah yeah whatever." she waved her hand, shooing at me and Lily to go away, as she dramatically turned her head away
"oh, come on Florence!! don't be like that with our good ol pal finnley" Lily cheered, but florence wasn't haven't it and strutted away with a bit of attitude...well, maybe with attitude...no, with a LOT of attitude.
"don't worry finn!! florence isn't the best with people...i found that out the hard way." lily comforted me
"wait what happ-"
"i'll tell you later!! but it's time for you to go meet the others mister." lily huffed while aggressively grabbing my arm. for such a lanky girl, she is quite strong...i must ask her what she eats everyday...

before we could travel much further into the endless gym, we came to a halt, as Lily looked like a cartoon character, with her feet skidding against the wooden floor. it was very funny, i lowky kinda giggled at it but i can't let her know i laughed at her or she would BEAT my ass
I tried looking around lily to see why we had stopped, but i couldn't see anything with Lily towering over in front, blocking my view. the absolute stinker. i can't even see what happened. like, lily please move i WANT to take a nosey at what happened. maybe it's better to ask her than sitting here trying to peer over her tall frame.
"yooo, Lily what happened??" i questioned her, still trying to peek over her shoulder
"oh no, i think Theodore slipped on Rowan's vomit!! i'm going to help them!! Theodore is so clumsy, one sec Finn!!" Lily rushed in a panic towards the fallen boy on the wooden floor. as the scene is now clearer in my eyes, it's, uhhh...not pretty to say the least. i see a short guy..or is it a boy?? I don't know but, he is currently sitting on the floor, with his knees pressed into his chest very tightly and the colour in his face, well...he looked very pale and green at the same time, it looks like he is about to throw up again, but luckily Lily got him a bucket, wait that was very quick? wtf!? Lily CANNOT be real.
with the other guy, before Lily helped him up, the guy was face planted into the creaky wooden floor, with his chest fully connected to the floor, but his lower half of his legs were frozen up. honestly, am i in a cartoon or real life because what is happening?? but, luckily the vomit didn't actually go all over him, or i would've been sick as well. Lily was now having a conversation with the two, it seems like the taller one was now slightly scolding at the boy craddling his knees with the tin bucket right beside him. so i decide to go over because why not??
"seriously Rowan you should've cleaned it up!! anyone could've slipped on it." the taller one scolded the boy on the floor as he let out a sad squeak, his face didn't look as green and pale as it did a minute ago. he just looked sad and apologetic as he sadly avoided eye contact with the taller boy and just stared at the half full bucket beside him
"it's okay Theodore!! don't go so hard on the guy now!! plus, how can you stay mad at this face!" Lily bent down to the boys level and cupped the boys innocent face, and pulled him closer to the guy named Theodore, to help Theodore to not be so crossed at Rowan. but Lily is right, Rowans face was very baby like and innocent which is a blessing to have because you could get away with anything with that type of face.
"i guess it's okay..." Theodore sighed out, scratching the skin behind his neck.
Lily and Rowan both turned to each other and beamed at each other with their wide happy smiles, i didn't think anyone could smile that big let alone TWO people. Lily helps Rowan up onto his feet, but while doing so she drops the bucket right into Rowans arms, letting him carry his half full vomit bucket. oh god i can SMELL it. it won't be long until i'm going to be sick...
lily spotted me and then said "oh!! right! Theodore, Rowan!! meet Finnley Burns!!! he is the ultimate runner!!" Lily chattered to the other two boys
"hey guys!! nice to meet you" i let out, trying to sound friendly, but keeping my original coolness
"hey Finnley, i'm Theodore Butler, the ultimate golf player!!" Theodore cheerily exclaimed, with his tall height, i thought he would've been playing basketball or tennis even..now that i think about his hair reminds me of a fluffy tennis ball. maybe he should go against grace or something, that would be very entertaining to see.

but, i do think i have heard a bit about the guy, just a bit though i didn't pay much attention... what i do know is that he is crazy smart and uses his knowledge to always get holes in ones, which upsets his opponents. with also inventing a bunch of different machinery to help him practice for tournaments. but i did hear that the guy can be a bit clumsy at times which costs him his hole in one but he still manages to win every golf tournament he decides to enter in and brings home many many MANY medals and trophies, not as many as me obviously, because i'm the best runner ever and have a whole shelf dedicated to my trophies and yeah the women all love me and yeah um yeah!!
"that's sick dude!! i heard about you!! you have crazy amounts of wins!! you're so goated" i say as to try and compliment him, to boost his ego more. you're welcome Theodore!!
"awww geez Finnley, thanks" Theodore's cheeks started to blush as he started rubbing the back of his neck a bit quicker
"ANDDDDD, this is Rowan!!! YAYYYY!! this is my boy!! he doesn't talk much! but that's okay because he is my best friend!!" Lily squeezed little Rowan into a giant bear hug, which completely swallowed him up. we couldn't even see him. but i could see the big smile he was giving before from under Lily's arms
"well his full name is Rowan Igne and he is the BEST ultimate Geologist!!! :3" Lily cheered while Rowan was still trapped in her arms

in full honestly, i didn't really hear much about the guy, but i do think he might be a year or 2 younger than the rest of us and that's actually really sick how he got in at that young of an age. the boy must be amazing at his ultimate to be recommended at this age. he seems cool enough though, but i fear there must be something wrong with his stomach or something...
"that's cool!! nice to meet you Rowan!!" i replied trying to find his face that's hidden in Lily's long noodle arms. which then i heard a squeak come from them, it must be Rowan trying to show his appreciation towards the caring and encouraging words i decided to share with him that must have brightened up his whole day. you are very, very, very welcome, my dear Rowan. i hope Rowan continues to have the BEST day ever!
"right so uhh guys, i'm going to go over there now!! byeee!" Theodore's nasally voice came out while pointing in the other direction where Grace, Penelope and Chase stood while chatting with each other. He seemed nervous about going over there, but idk why?? he seems to be a nervous type of person anyways, so it's probably just his nature. then he shuffled away from us. so now it's just me, Lily and the big Rowan
"Finnleyyyyyyyyy!! pleaseeee can little buddie, Rowan come help finish your interactions?? he is like my son" Lily begged me with her massive neon green eyes that sparkled with desperation. i mean i had no problem with the little guy, he seemed chill enough!! but he needs to keep that bucket with him at all times or he will explode like a volcano.
"yeah sure!! the little guy can come!! just. keep that bucket with you." i pleaded to Rowan who was finally met with the floor again, as Lily let him go from the tight bear hug she had him trapped in. atleast he can breathe again!! would've been terrible if Lily fucking murdered the boy. my god
"YAY!! isn't that great news Rowan!!!" Lily cheered as she turns towards Rowan and he let out a giant smile!!
"yay!" squeaked out Rowan excitedly with a massive grin to his face. oh yeah i forgot he can speak, he just chooses not to. i wonder why??
"let's go then my friends!!" Lily announced as she caught my wrist and held it tightly with her right and and took Rowans shoulder with her left hand and guided us over to another section of the gym.
this part of the gym seemed quieter and was further away from all of the other rowdy students. but, why was Lily bringing us over here AWAY from the other people?? i knew it couldn't be real when a pretty girl like her took an interest into me and decided to kindly help me introduce myself to others. and now she is going to kill me and Rowan. good bye world. i'm going to miss you. i'm going to miss my beautiful hair. i'm going to miss my fans and i'm going to miss my future girlfriend, whoever it may be. good bye.
"ohhh William!! where are you my friend?? i brought over a few people who would like to meet you!! it's okay William!!" Lily began to shout around the silent area of the back of the g
then, a little head peaked out from the curtains, the head was barely visible, but you could see the slight shiver that came with the head and the down turned eye that was just about in view. this William character is SCARED as shit, he is currently shaking like a leaf right now. he must be very frightened from god knows what.
"hey buddy!! it's okay, these guys are COMPLETELY harmless you have nothing to worry about William!!" Lily reassured the quivering guy as she let go of both me and Rowan while she shuffled a tiny bit closer towards William to try and comfort him
then, William fully stepped out from behind the intimidatingly massive blood red curtain. his hands immediately found themselves fidgeting with each other, picking at the broken skin and biting at the already shortened nails on his fingers. his eyes were scanning the giant room at a quick pace, as he is taking in his surroundings of the crowded hall.
"it's nice of you to come out William!! this is Finnley Burns, the ultimate runner and this is Rowan Igne the ultimate geologist!!" Lily explained to the shaking boy, but he seemed to have calmed down a bit since 2 minutes ago, which was an improvement. Williams tense shoulders loosened. he could finally look me and Rowan in the eye, so he could actually see who Lily was talking about. his fingers fidgeted less as he is now only scratching at his bony hand
I went to pat his shoulder with comfort, but he completely backed up against the wall and let out a "wah!" sound. his whole body was trembling as he looked completely scared out of his mind, with his arms in a protective stance while also hiding his petrified face from me, Lily and Rowan. i immediately felt horrible and turned to Lily with a confused and pitying look.
"it's okay Finn!! he has really bad social anxiety and as a condition that makes his bones super weak, i think it was something like Osteogenesis Imperfecta? which makes the poor boy petrified of any human interaction. the boy is very fragile, so don't be feeling bad for scaring him since you didn't know!!" Lily quietly comforted me, which eased the tension in my shoulder a whole lot
"it's alright William, he's not going to hurt you!! why don't you introduce yourself to them??? it will only be a quick minute a promise!!" Lily stepped forward as she gave William a warm smile while glancing over at me and Rowan.
William's arms slowly descended as his posture slightly straightened. he looked conflicted while rethinking Lily's words, then he looked at us with determination in his eyes, like he finally decided to do something he couldn't before.
"i'm...uhh..uhh..Willi-William Balsa...the..uhh..um..ultimate..ri-risk assessor..." William stuttered out while controlling his breathing by taking very big deep breathes in and out. i haven't read much about him, he gets called into offices, factories and sometimes construction sites to help spot dangerous things that would definitely cause harm to the workers, he is great at his talent, so i hear. but i guess having a talent like that comes with it's negatives of being overly cautious of every little detail around your setting.

"thank you so much William!! you did great!! we'll see you around, okay??" Lily quickly added before swiping me and Rowan away from the still shaking boy. Lily was walking at a quick pace while practically tugging me and rowan along towards the crowd of students in a jumbled up circle, having conversations with one another. i have no idea why Lily is in such a rush for, we have enough time, bro is walking like she's running out of time.
"Lily why are we rushing for??" i say giving Lily a confused gaze
"we only have TWO people left. and then we can talk more after!!" Lily cheerfully stated to me, looking over at me with a wide grin that could blind people from a mile away
" really only two people left??? that's not that many." replying to Lily with a curious tone
"yep andddddd we are just about to meet student number 20!!! yay!!!" Lily says with an excited vibe to her voice
we were strolling up to the student, who visually looked tall and very chubby...not in a rude way of course!! he was very overweight and appeared to be scruffy with his greasy hair that looked like a bunch of sticks piled on his head, his cheeks were squishing into his mouth, affecting . he seemed very focused on thinking, like he was in his own planet
"ooooooh Sebastian!! i have friends that would like to meet you!!" Lily cheerfully stated to Sebastian, which was clearly not listening to her
"yeah, yeah. i'm busy right now, if you couldn't tell. I'm Sebastian Biggs the ultimate cleaner. are we done now??" Sebastian let out a loud groan and turned his body around to give us an unfazed side eye

"oh! okay!! sorry Sebastian!! we'll go!" Lily peeped out, seeming a bit let down by his sudden cold attitude towards her. she seemed physically upset by that, with her shoulders drooped the floor and her head hung very low, hiding her face away from us. i went over to her to try and comfort the sad Lily
"it's okay Lily!! the guy was not cool for saying that to you!! he was a jerk!! how about we go see the last guy, huh?" i quietly asked Lily to see if she was okay to go on with the last introduction. with the small sniffles i hear coming from her.
"yes!! i'm okay!! letsssss go!! :D" Lily burst out, quickly grabbing me and Rowans, as i look over to Rowan with a confused glint to my eye, but, Rowan didn't even bat an eye, as he was smiling away with a daydream glare in his eyes, obviously not paying much attention to the situation. Lily is very bipolar sometimes, one minute she is sunshine and rainbows with smiley faces plastered around her, then she becomes all gloomy and sad with thunder clouds surrounding her. but, oh well!! off we go to the last person!! i can't believe this is the last student, it feels like i have been talking to infinite students.
"just to make you aware of the last person!! he umm...not to sound mean or rude!! but, he can come off...strange!! but he is still my friend!!! he doesn't really talk much and...he doesn't really have a last name..? it's very strange, but i love the guy!! platonically, of course!" Lily quickly added in before we stopped in front of someone, he looked very, very, VERY basic and he was quite lanky looking compared to the rest of us. his face was very deadpan looking, as he seemed uninterested in anything around him
"heyyy David!! how are you doing?? i brought some friends over!! this is fine!!" Lily turned her head to face me "and this is Rowan!!" she turned her head towards Rowan, showing off his wide smile and unfocused eyes. Rowan is still in his own little world. oh little Rowan, what a soul you are
without replying, David just slowly turned around to face us. to say the least, i am so fucking scared of this man. why the FUCK did he turn around so creepily for?? we are NOT in a horror movie little bro. oh my god, i think i'm about to start bolting out of the gym doors, cause no way am i dealing with the Exorcist over there. nope. not happening. i am OUT. before i tried to walk away, Lily grabbed at the back of my hood and held it securely so i couldn't leave, while giving me this annoyed look, sorry i didn't want to get murdered Lily. thanks Lily. you really want me dead don't you??
"THIS, is David, he doesn't really speak much, so i'll introduce him!! all anyone knows is that his name is David and he is the ultimate unlucky student. it's a very unfortunate talent, but its his ultimate talent, so we better keep an eye on him!!" Lily explained to both me and Rowan. Rowan was obviously not paying attention, but what the hell?? who is THIS guy?? this guy is so unknown. no idea who it is or what kind of talent that is but it's a very shit talent.

"we'll uhh...leave you to it David!! byeeee!!!" Lily quickly stated, then pulled rowan and i away from the scary dude. thank god. i thought he was about to murder all three of us. but, finally i am DONE. no more talking to anyone EVERRRRRRR YESSSSSSSSSSS. joking, i love everyone!!! welll...ummm maybe??

a sudden static noise fell out of the speakers, blaring into our ears tearing our brains apart, little by little, as i could hear screams coming from all over the hall from different people. what the hell is happening?? what is going on?? then the static hell of a noise stopped and a monotone voice boomed out of the massive speakers hanging near the endless curtains that are tied to the side of the gloomy stage with a wooden podium off to the side.
"he-...hello?? can you hear me?" the monotone voice managed to let out from all the glitching of the microphone, but the voice finally came through.
"it seems like everyone is here. it's time for everything to begin" the monotone voice boomed out. we all looked at each other confusingly, until something strange happened...within a small second, a medium sized speaker box popped out from thin air, it was split into two colours, white and black. okay now this is freaky.
"welcome to your new school life students, where you will be spending the rest of your lives here. or...you'll have to kill." spat out the monotone speaker box
