"Hi, everyone!" Yosuke greeted.

"Hello," Yu said, bowing a bit to the camera.

"Dude, why are you so formal?" Yosuke chuckled, nudging Yu with an elbow. "you've interrupted my streams enough times that we've gone past formality."

"But they're your audience, no? You call them your family sometimes. So it's like meeting the parents."

The viewers watched as Yosuke's face immediately turned red, "Dude! It's so not like meeting the parents."

"Well, I met your parents years ago, so this is the closest I'll get."

"Not as— ugh, you know what I mean!"

Yu chuckled, ingnoring Yosuke's embarrassment, "shall we start the stream?"

"Fine, fine." Yosuke sighed, "anyway, as you can see chat, I have something new prepared for today. Since you're all so invested with my— well, love life, and you're all so interested to know more about Yu over here, he'll join us today. So be nice to him, alright?"

Soon enough, the stream chat was flooded with yeses and Yosuke nodded. "Great! Aside from that though, Yu is also here to apologise, right, Yu?"

Yu nodded, sheepish.

"Thank you for being loving and supportive fans of Yosuke here. A lot of you take precious time off your day to watch his streams, so I would like to apologise for disturbing them for the past few weeks. My jealousy and overall... possessivenes are things that I should work on, and I shouldn't get in the way between you and my partner just because I often want him all to myself." Yu said, then bowed.

"Now that they've forgiven you, look, they want to get to know you, partner," Yosuke read the messages.

"Oh, uhm... I'm Yu Narukami, it's nice to meet you all. I'm also in university, I like to fish, fold paper cranes, cook food and take care of Yosuke, and well... what else? I don't think there's not much to tell..." Yu said, fingers playing with his bangs.

Yosuke turned to him, looking offended. "Dude. Partner. Not much to tell? You're literally the person with much to tell."

Yu turned away, but Yosuke wasn't done. "Let me tell you, chat. Don't listen to him. He's literally the best person in the world, and it's not because I'm biased."

"I'm really not."

"Yeah you are. Only you would help out every single person who needs it without asking much in return. Then there was that time in high school where you fulfilled the wishes on the emas, like dude– who even does that?" Yu opened his mouth to retort, but Yosuke cut him off, holding a finger up, "you also take on a million part time jobs on top of those and academics, man. And you do the chores more than I do! Just stop lying and accept it."

"Oh great, first it's Chie, and now Rise's here. What the hell? Guys, please don't embarrass me," Yosuke groaned. Yu only chuckled.

"Did you never tell your viewers you're friends with Rise? They look surprised."

"It's not like they're gonna believe me. I also value mine and Rise's privacy so I'm not gonna show them our pictures. But now that you guys know, we've been friends since high school."

"Alright, alright... Jeez. Anyway, Yu is joining me for this stream because he wants to meet you guys and play games. However, he's not really much of a gamer, so I let him decide on what game he wants to play. Is that alright with you chat?" Yosuke asked, smiling at the audience as they spammed the stream chat with agreements. He laughed at Rise telling

"Maybe we can play a game together later, Yosuke. Right now I want to play Tomodachi Life."

"Oh yeah! You've been obssessed with that game lately. Chat, he hasn't put down his Switch ever since he bought the game. But he has never shown me what he's been doing in his island before, so we're all going to see it for the first time."

Yu read the stream chat and replied to some questions while Yosuke set up the game, the latter adding his own comments here and there.


"Hmm.. what do I like to cook? I like cooking different kinds of soups and noodles. I like to bake with my younger sister as well..."

"My favourite part time job would be working at the daycare center. The kids can get rowdy sometimes, but they're a lot easier to handle than adults, especially like the ones in Yosuke's past retail job..."

"You have a point there. Ugh, I'm never going back even if I get desperate for money to feed myself or something."

"Don't worry, Yosuke. I'll make sure you never go hungry."

"Wha-?!" Yu just ignored him.

"Hm? Yes... in fact, I'm glad you guys support Yosuke a lot, it allowed him to quit retail. He got tired too often and he didn't get enough rest, so I'm glad you all love Yosuke. He's a lot less tired now, and I don't get to hear him complain about entitled customers anymore." Yu smiled at the viewers, his gratefulness palpable. Yosuke blushed as he finished setting up the stream window.

"Hm... how long have I loved Yosuke? I don't remember when I realised it, but it just felt natural to, well, feel that way. It's been years since then."

"L-love?!" Yosuke turned, quick enough that his neck could've broken.

Yu tilted his head, "of course, did you not get that I love you when we confessed to each other last week?"

Yosuke was as red as his signature skinny jeans now, his eyes refusing to look at Yu, "w-well! I mean... I guess... but hearing it is an entirely different matter..."

Yu chuckled, leaning forward.

"H-hey! Partner!!! C-can we get to the game now?!" Yosuke panicked, placing a hand on Yu's face. Yu laughed again, picking up his Switch to start playing.

"Alright partner, let's see what you have in your island... woah, is that all of us?" Yosuke asked, leaning to rest his chin on Yu's shoulder. Yu let him watch, introducing everyone in his island.

"This one's the Dojima residence... then here's Rise's house, she's in between Naoto's and Kanji's... then here's Chie and Yukiko's, they started living together a week ago. And here's Teddie's, I put it next to the Dojima's so he and Nanako could be close."

"Sweet, partner! Hey, is that Ebihara walking? It looks just like her."

"Of course, I spent hours making sure everyone looked similar to their real life counterparts."

Yosuke turned to the camera, "see? What did I tell you guys? Wait, where am I?"

At this, Yu blushed, the tips of his ears reddening.

"Dude. What did you do?"

"Nothing! It's just..."

Yosuke grabbed Yu's switch, finding his character. "Aha! Aw, I look pretty good, actually! Don't you agree, chat? What's the problem partner— oh, we live together! That's cool, it's just like real life! I like what you did to my room decorations... huh? Who's this other mii that's living with us?"

"That's... well..."

"Huh? Daugh— daughter?! I- I have a daughter in your island?!" Yosuke stared wide-eyed at Yu, who coughed.

"We."

"What was that?"

Yu coughed again, "we. We have a daughter. In my island. A child. Yes."

"Hah?!?! Then— that— that means we've been—"

"Married? Yes."

Yosuke pressed some buttons, "Married for 42 days?! Then how long have we been dating in your island in total?!"

"..."

"Dude. Partner. How long?"

"We're the first miis I made... and our miis hit it off really quick..."

While Yosuke blushed and stuttered as he watched Yu play his game, he was still quite happy at the thought of marrying Yu. Eventually, he played along, teasing Yu for being a good or bad husband depending on the actions that their miis did. At the end of their stream, Yosuke decided to allow the viewers to ask them questions. As expected, the viewers took the opportunity to ask them about their relationship.

"I believe I mentioned it earlier, and yes, I have loved Yosuke for years... hm? No, I was content with what we had, even if at times I acted like a possessive boyfriend. Those were lapses where I couldn't control myself anymore. But I was perfectly fine with just being friends."

"No you're not."

"..."

"He really won't, chat. He'll be mopey for the rest of our lives until I ask him about it and he confesses."

"... I can't argue with that."

"Well, it's not like I didn't already like Yu... I mean, I guess it's just that I didn't really realise it until a lot later. It doesn't look like it now, but I used to be pretty homophobic... oh my god, Rise, I get it, stop teasing me. Ugh, not you too, Chie."

"I think it's pretty warranted to tease you about it. Your internalised homophobia was off the charts."

"Dude."

"What?"

"Anyways, I think my feelings have always been there, I was just too in denial to acknowledge it. We've had a long talk about it already, and he knows it... I owe him an apology? Yes, of course. I apologised already— you guys want to hear it?! But— ugh, fine... Partner, I'm sorry I made you wait this long. I have a lot to catch up on but you know that I'll do everything I can to make it up to you. ANd I'll make sure to take care of you the way you did to me all this time."

"Yosuke..."

"H-hey, PDA dude... w-wait! They can see! At least let me turn it off— Partner—!"
