Aqua was NOT having a good day.
She quite literally woke up on the wrong side of the bed, then burnt the eggs and bacon. The traffic around Coral Palace City was particularly horrendous today, which made her late to meet up with her friends. The restaurant then fucked up her steak, cooking it MEDIUM instead of rare. S.Lemon then proceeded to call her SEVERAL times, which annoyed everybody in attendance and got her plenty of those looks. On one occasion, Aqua got so mad that other people heard one of her outbursts.
'Hey, is that Aqua?'
'The Aqua? Like Coral Palace Bay Aqua?'
'Yeah! It is Aqua!'
Ah, the perils of fame.
After making a hasty escape from the mob of fans and paparazzi, she was able to get in her car, get stuck in afternoon traffic for an hour, hang up on S.Lemon several more times, before finally making it home and flopping herself on the couch. She genuinely didn't believe this day could get any worse.
Brrrrrring! Brrrrrring!
THREE. FUCKING. MOONS.
Aqua picked up the phone. 'What the actual FUCK could be so important to the point that you have to ruin my FUCKING day out!?' She yelled into the speaker. Lemon began to respond. As Aqua began to listen, her anger began to slither away, being replaced with a face of worry and concern.
'She didn't.' She told Lemon.
'She did.' Was her response.
'And you FUCKING let her!?' She half-screamed. Even though she was very concerned for her friend on the inside, She sure as hell didn't show it.
'I tried to talk her out of it!' Lemon responded. 'But she leapt in while I was doing an epic speech!'
'When the ACTUAL FUCK has Nami listened to anybody?' Aqua yelled.
'She listens to our managers!' Lemon retorted, defensively.
'Because she respects her superiors, unlike a certain someone!' Aqua hit back, with some nuance in the last two words.
'Fathom was a shit manager and you know it.' Lemon said, matter-of-factly. Aqua tried to argue against that, but she couldn't formulate anything.
'UGHH!' She finally responded, 'Listen. We're getting off topic here.'
Lemons response was instantaneous. 'You're just saying that because I'm winning.'
'No I am NOT.' Aqua shot back. ''I am saying that because it's true.' She could tell off of experience that Lemon was rolling her eyes on the other side.
'Sure.' Lemon responded. 'Whatever. Anyways, someone needs to tell the rest of the team and the royal family what happened, and considering you're currently in town right now...' Of course. Of course she'd try to pass it on to her.
'Yeah, yeah.' Aqua said, before hanging up the phone. She put her phone down, walked to the kitchen, ate a whole tub of vanilla ice cream straight out of the freezer (She thought she deserved it, and it couldn't be that bad for her health), then once finished, went to her bed and lied down to take a nap.
After all, it was supposed to be her day off.
