Chapter Text

Todoroki was tapping his pencil against the table with a puzzled frown. The angry blonde wrapped around his waist groaned slightly before pointing at the paper and mumbling, “No, no this isn’t right. You have to factor this.” Todoroki’s eyebrows furrowing even more before he tilted his head and stared blankly at the page before turning to face his boyfriend.

“I-I still don’t get it.” He sighed frustrated and braced himself for Bakugou’s own frustration to bubble over into shouting as it often did when helping people study. Everyone knew that Bakugou cared deeply and wasn’t as angry as he always seemed despite his explosive reactions to almost every inconvenience.

Surprisingly, the blonde did not yell, he simply buried his face in Todoroki’s shoulder and mumbled, “How about we take a break from math for now?”

Todoroki’s eyes widened and his cheeks began to heat up furiously, still not used to the physical affection. “I uh- yeah, okay.” He set the pencil down before leaning into the other’s touch. He tilted his head back and gasped lightly when the blonde caught his lips with his own.

Across the table, Uraraka and Izuku were cooing softly. “Awwwww, Bakugou-kun is almost like a normal person now.” The short, bubbly brunette spoke in a chirpy voice.

Bakugou pulled away from his boyfriend, before leaning across the table and yelling, “OH QUIET ROUND FACE, AND YOU TOO DEKU.” He snapped angrily, although the blush dusting his pale cheeks suggested it was more out of embarrassment than true anger.

Izuku sighed and chuckled, “There’s the Kacchan we know.” He rolled his eyes but couldn’t help but smile a little at the way Todoroki was blushing furiously across the table.

Todoroki let out a mumbled, “Katsuki come on, there’s no need to fight.” He looked down shyly at the sound of the other’s first name on his own tongue. This seemed to calm down the angry blonde as he settled back into his position next to Todoroki. “I’m going to run up to my room and grab my English homework and we can work on that instead. This is too frustrating.” He stood up, placing a soft kiss on Bakugou’s cheek, coaxing another symphony of awes from their friends.

As Todoroki made his way up the stairs to his dorm, Bakugou wiped the pout off his face before speaking, “Listen up, losers ‘cause I’m only going to say this once. It’s Shouto’s birthday on Friday and I think we should throw him a surprise party. I already talked to Mr. Aizawa and he said we can do what we want as long as we don’t wake him up past midnight.”

The group was stunned into silence for a moment before Kirishima broke it, “That’s so manly dude, you two are really good for each other. I’m in, tell me when and where and what I can do!”

Izuku, who was holding the redhead’s hand under the table, away from the prying eyes of their friends was the next to speak up, “I’m sure he will love that Kacchan! That’s so thoughtful of you.” He smiled brightly and Kirishima couldn’t help the intense pang of longing that settled in his stomach at the sight. He wished more than anything that they could have their relationship out in the open like their friends was.

The rest of their classmates agreed enthusiastically, causing a surge of pride to fill Bakugou’s chest at the notion that all their friends cared so deeply about his boyfriend. He was really amazing and Bakugou always knew that his Shouto deserved the very best. The class was chattering excitedly about the epic surprise party they were going to throw when Todoroki came back down the steps with his notebook in hand. The class quickly quieted down at the sight of the multicolored head hopping down the steps. He plopped himself down on the seat next to Bakugou nuzzling close to him with a lopsided smile.

Izuku sighed wistfully at the sight of his friends being so affectionate with each other. He was happy for him, he just wished that he and Eijirou could be the same way. Deep down, he knew that none of their friends would care, they’d just kept it a secret for so long now that he wasn’t sure how they would come out to everyone about it. Under the table, he felt a light squeeze to his hand and stole a quick glance to where Eijirou’s ruby eyes were staring at him. The two shared a bittersweet smile before continuing with their schoolwork.

It was Friday evening and Eijirou was lounging lazily on Izuku’s bed as his bubbly, green-haired boyfriend worried over which shirt he should wear. Eijirou was hanging almost entirely upside down off of the bed before he spoke softly, “Izuku, you look great, baby why are you so worried you look great.”

Izuku sighed before throwing himself down on the bed next to the other. He smiled a little before speaking softly, “We hardly get the chance to all hang out like this, plus I want to look good for you.” His voice trailed off as the spoke, cheeks burning a little brighter at his own words.

Kirishima cooed softly before wrapping his arms around the green-haired boyfriend’s waist. “Zu, love, I always think you look good. God, you’re so cute, how did I get so lucky.” He leaned in and kissed the other’s freckled cheek.

Izuku huffed and pouted slightly before speaking again quietly, “Ei, when are we going to tell our friends about us? I just, I don’t know if you’ve noticed this but sometimes people flirt with you and I really don’t like that they think you’re available.” His voice shrunk with each word he spoke, his pout becoming more and more pronounced.

Eijirou’s heart ached at the realization that his boyfriend was sad but couldn’t hide the mild amusement at the jealous behaviour. “Aww are you jealous?” He teased, pulling the smaller teen into his lap so that they were facing each other. Izuku whined and buried his face in his hands, cheeks burning brightly. He let out a quiet squeak which was adorable to say the least. The redhead’s face softened at the small boy’s embarrassed reaction to the teasing. “I don’t mind telling everyone now, it’s just I don’t know how to bring it up. How do we explain that we’ve been together so long without telling them?”
Izuku looked up, a shocked expression settling on his face, before he broke into a breathtaking smile that was bright enough to give the sun a run for its money. “Wait, does this mean we can tell everyone?” He threw his arms around his boyfriend’s neck as he spoke.

The redhead chuckled before nodding as he replied, “Yeah, babe, it means we can tell everyone. Just I don’t think we should tonight, since it’s Todoroki’s birthday and all.”

Izuku pumped his fist in the air before kissing Eijirou hard on the lips in celebration. He pulled away and pressed their foreheads together before mumbling quietly, “I’m so happy right now.”
The couple proceeded to cuddle and talk, stealing occasional kisses now and then for the next half hour or so until there was a knock at the door. Izuku squeaked quietly from where he pressed against his red-haired boyfriend. He hesitantly spoke, “Uh, yes? Who is it?”

Uraraka’s voice came through the door, “Todoroki-kun is on his way back so it’s time for us to go hide! Also, we can’t find Kirishima, have you seen him anywhere?”

Izuku’s eyes widened as he scooted away from where Eijirou had his arms wrapped around him. “I -uh, he’s actually with me…” His sentence trailed off as he spoke.

Uraraka paused for a moment before chirping, “Okay, cool! Hi, Kiri! Oh, also can I grab my notebook I left here really quick?” She began opening the door before he had the chance to reply. Izuku’s eyes widened as he realized what was unfolding. He hastily tried to move from where he was enveloped in his boyfriend’s arms, but failed to do so before the door swung open to reveal his friend standing in the doorway with a shocked look on her face. She spluttered as she attempted to speak, “Ohhhhh, Deku-kun, I’m so sorry to interrupt. I’ll just come back later. Uhh, see you two downstairs soon, okay?”
Izuku opened his mouth to reply, but she was gone quicker than he could form the words to explain. He groaned softly, burying his face into Eijirou’s shoulder, “Do you think she’s going to tell everyone?”
The other chuckled before replying in a bemused tone, “I seriously doubt it, especially if she thinks we’re trying to keep it a secret.”

The greenette sighed and nodded solemnly before standing up and pulling the redhead along with him. “Well then, we’d better go downstairs before Todoroki gets back.” He ran a hand through his already messy curls.

Kirishima smiled goofily before pulling the other into his arms and connecting their lips in a short, sweet kiss. “Yeah, okay, let’s go.” He paused for a moment before he burst out laughing.
Izuku’s eyebrows furrowed before he started laughing too, “W-What is it?” He wheezed out through bursts of giggles.

The redhead wiped tears from his eyes, his chuckling dying down a bit, “I just can’t believe she walked right in and saw us like that.” The greenette giggled a bit more before he leaned up to kiss Eijirou on the nose.

There was another knock to the door followed by angry shouting from none other than Bakugou, “Hey Nerd, hurry the fuck up and get downstairs. Also, if you see Shitty Hair, tell him to get his ass downstairs.”

Izuku couldn’t supress the laughter bubbling in his throat as he giggled through his reply, “O-Okay, Kacchan coming!”

Several minutes later, the two had joined the rest of their classmates, crouching in the dark living area which was decorated with various streamers and balloons. In the darkness, Eijirou had his hand rested on the small of Izuku’s back, it’s not like anyone would notice. There was the sound of footsteps entering the main entrance and the entire class collectively held their breath waiting for their friend to enter the living area. As soon as his figure was in the doorway, the lights were switched on and everyone jumped up and shouted “SURPRISE!!”

Todoroki’s bicoloured eyes were wide in shock, before he started tearing up slightly at the sight. “I -uh I’ve never-“ To the outside eye, the boy’s reaction could be assumed to be one of distressed but his friends knew that he was just overcome with emotion and wasn’t quite sure how to express how he was feeling.

Bakugou instantly approached his boyfriend and wrapped a protective arm around him, he kissed gently below the scar surrounding his eye. At the tender display of affection, Todoroki blinked a few times before slinging an arm around Bakugou’s waist and leaned into the familiar warmth of his boyfriend. He mumbled quietly, slightly choked up, “Thank you everyone, I’ve never had a party before.”

Bakugou shifted so that he was standing behind the other, he wrapped his arms around the other’s slim waist, pulling him against him and snuggling into Todoroki’s multicolored hair. He gently kissed the top of his head as the rest of their class began to settle down and the room filled with laughter and individual conversations. The two stayed to themselves for several moments, quietly talking with each other when none other than Kaminari and Sero burst back into the room and shouted, “We have the alcohol!!”

Bakugou’s eyes snapped up and he immediately moved away from his boyfriend shouting, “Who the fuck told you to bring alcohol. Mr. Aizawa will actually kill us, morons!”
The other two just laughed it off with the excuse, “Is it really a party if nobody gets drunk?” Kaminari argued with a smile. Bakugou was frowning but accepted the two drinks he was being offered, grumbling as he walked back to Todoroki.
About an hour later, most of the class was moderately tipsy to say the least. Izuku had not ever had a drop of alcohol until earlier that evening when Uraraka handed him a drink, despite Iida’s vocal disappointment in such behaviour. Now, Izuku was quite drunk, and Kirishima was beginning to realize that his boyfriend was an incredibly clingy drunk and had absolutely no filter. The greenette was sitting on the couch, curled in his red-haired boyfriend’s lap. Some of their classmates cast some confused look at the two, but Kirishima just shrugged it off and decided to enjoy the other’s allowance of such a public display of affection.
Izuku was enthusiastically debating quirks with Todoroki, when Kirishima shifted slightly from where he was sitting, hoping to adjust the way that the other was situated when Izuku whined out loud before huffing angrily, “Ei, no! Don’t leave! This is comfyyyy.” He drawled his words more than he usually would and twisted so he was half facing Eijirou, before running a hand through the red spiky locks.
Eijirou’s face turned beet red at his boyfriend’s words before he mumbled quietly, “I won’t leave, just want to get comfortable.” Izuku nodded before turning back to Todoroki who was sober enough to be puzzled by the affectionate way the two were behaving. The greenette continued babbling on and Todoroki decided it was best to not question it too much.
A little while later, Kaminari excitedly made a suggestion, “Everyone! Everyone, let’s play spin the bottle.” There were groans and giggles filling the room as the class began to gather in the centre of the room creating a large circle.

Bakugou rolled his eyes when Todoroki sat next to him and mumbled quietly, “Katsuki, what does spin the bottle mean?”

The blonde let out a loose chuckle before pulling his boyfriend close and saying, “Just watch, babe, you’ll see.”

Izuku was sitting between Todoroki and Kirishima with a bright smile plastered on his face as he held the redhead’s hand in his own and weaving their fingers together.

Bakugou’s eyebrows furrowed together before he semi-shouted, “Oi! Shitty Hair, why are you cozying up to that Nerd so much?”

The redhead nervously opened his mouth, trying to pull his hand away from his boyfriend’s tight grasp, only receiving a quiet whine resulting in the shorter boy to lean further into Kirishima’s touch, sighing at the warmth of his body. His mouth was hung open trying to come up with something to say when he was interrupted by Tsu’s voice, “I guess we have to figure out who’s going to spin first.”
Kaminari threw his hand in the air and shouted, “I’ll do it!” His enthusiasm was met with giggles from his classmates. He leaned forward and spun the bottle, as soon as he looked up to see that it had landed on Jirou, the smug look disappeared from his face and was replaced with flushed cheeks. The two shared a quick kiss, both looking embarrassed and flushed at the action.

The game proceeded like this for a while before it was Mina’s turn to spin. She giggled to herself as she spun the bottle, but her eyes widened when it landed on Kirishima. Kirishima had been struggling to keep his boyfriend from trying to make out with him from where he had been perched in his lap for the entirety of the game until that point. The room quieted a bit when Mina chuckled, “Uh, well I guess that means we kiss now.”

Kirishima chuckled a bit and opened his mouth to speak when strong arms were swung around his neck and Midoriya shouted, “NO!” His emerald eyes were filled to the brim with tears as he pressed his cheek into Kirishima’s chest. “No one is allowed to kiss Eijirou. Only me!” He shouted as he buried his face into Kirishima’s shirt, wiping away the tears.

Todoroki bluntly asked, “Hmm, and why is that?”

Izuku turned around to face him and spoke in a tone suggesting that it was the most obvious thing ever, “Well because he’s MY boyfriend!”

At that, all hell broke loose. Kirishima’s face turned bright red and he mumbled over the chaos, “Well this certainly isn’t how I imagined that going.”

Todoroki nodded solemnly, likely thinking about all the signs that pointed to yes. Bakugou’s mouth was hung open in shock. Half the class began pulling out money and passing it to each other as they shouted at each other.

To make matters worse, in the absolute chaos of excited shouts and bets, Aizawa had slunk down the stairs with the glare of the century plastered on his face. “ENOUGH!” Came a shout, silencing all of his students. “I don’t want to know what is going on, I just want you all to be quiet and just let me sleep.” He muttered before turning around and walking back up the stairs. As soon as their teacher was out of earshot, the class began bombarding Kirishima with questions who just sighed to himself knowing that he could tease Izuku about this for the foreseeable future.
