Chapter Text

《~ Good people exist? ~》

Tsukauchi Naomosa is a great guy, by the testimony of all the people he meet on daily basis, and an even greater detective. He is smart, hard working and has a strong moral compass.

He was also putting up with the hard work, long shifts and unbearable situation that came with his work. He was one one of the most earnest people you could meet.

He simply loved his job.

But that doesn't stop him from getting frustrated, specifically at one of the more paradoxical individual that plagued his every day life that makes his blood boil just by the mere thought of him.

His day started as usual. He woke up in the late morning to get ready for the long day that awaits him, he took a very much needed bath, ate a fast breakfast. He wore his suit with a green tie, his beige coat and a matching hat. (without forgetting his badge and gun of course)

He headed to the police station in his black subaku impresa sedam car. Entered the building, then greeted the front desk receptionist Tanashi as usual.

"Good evening shi! Anything new?" he asked the black haired women. "Nothing much, it's quite the slow day today." She responded giving the detective a nod.

He nodded his head back as a sign of respect and then proceeded to go to his personal office in the station (without forgetting to grab his cup of coffee, God knows that he needed that to survive the day.) Sitting in his chair, doing today's paper work while sipping the bitter elixer of life.

After being cooped up in his desk for hours writing reports on recently closed cases which was thanks to the help of a somewhat special informant that seems to aquire a lot of information in a more or less ambiguous way but it helps with the case and saving the innocent civillians.

refilling his cup for what seems like the 15th time today (which is most likely than you might think) while going through the most recent cases he had worked on... they seem connected somehow. He felt that it was no coincidences between them the patterns were somewhat similar a low class villain disappearing suddenly from a scene but without making another appearence, but without a substantial amount of evidence he couldn't open a new case. On a more technical side he should be happy. (less villains, less crimes = safe people.)

But his mind was restless. He needed to investigate more. Re-read the files, look for any proof any piece that might have slipped his mind.

And that how he spent the next few hours of his shift.

he needed a break before his brain decide to just "screw it and turn into the embodiment of Te Kā."

He sighs as he gets up from his office and greets the new co-workers that changed their shift. Stepping outside of the station to breath some fresh air, he looks at the night sky. His mind running through millions of ideas. One of them though makes him pause. That idea that pestered and frustrated him.

It was the infamous vigilante that liked to play games,

Ghost.

This fast and witty vigilante that have never been seen before by the authorities. Heroes never once we're able to catch or face with him. They only relied on witness report and previous clues they were able to solve which wasn't much helpful.

They only knew three things about the mysterious person: he was a short man (not a child since witnesses say his voice is deep, that of an adult) who wore a similar to a ninja costume, he was a smart quick guy that took down his opponents in minutes (they assumed his quirk fell under the categories of either mental boost or physical enhancement most likely speed.) and he seemed to be a copycat of a previous vigilante with similar playful persona that liked to mess with the authorities. Viper.

From what described he had a similar fighting style and a nonchalant whimsical character. Said vigilante has been out of underground scene for 7 years. She was one of the few the detective somewhat respected since she saved many civilians in a previous villain attack that took out a bridge filled with innocent people.

The detective didn't approve of vigilantes at all, most of them just wanted to use their quirks, but he can respect the many people they saved and them cleaning the street from some criminals that the police couldn't get to and all.

But He still didn't approve of them nonetheless, they were breaking the law and using their quirks as they please without proper training. How would they survive, they can endanger innocent people's lives just because they decided they want some of the action. To him that sounded stupid. If you want to save the day become a hero or police officer that has proper training. If you couldn't then they are plenty of jobs that contributes to the world that you can receive proper training for without putting anyone in danger.

While his thoughts spiraled wildly as he debated with himself the whole issue with vigilantes.
He received a cryptic text with the coordinates of what appears to be storage house right outside of mutfasu in a secluded area, and another one to the closest hospital to it.

He had a pretty good idea of who sent it (one very smug face with a black mask appears in his mind) he didn't try to fight it either... he just thought "what did that problematic idiot do this time?"

He shoved the phone back in his pocket and alerted his unit and the pro hero working with him in this case to get up and get the villains. And maybe, just maybe, he can talk once with the anonymous person filled with mystery.

He went to said location with some of his man (the others went to the hospital) and a informed the pro hero under the case of the troublesome vigilante to meet up.

They quickly drove to that area. He signed to his man to stand by. The pro hero he texted arrived looking as tired as ever.

"Eraserhead, glad to see you however unfortunate." he greeted the man who looks done with everything and has an expression that said give-me-coffee-or-so-help-me-god-i-will-break-your-neck (he probably will, the detective noted.)

"Detective, it seems like this will always be the topic of our meetings due to the nature of our jobs" the bitter man replied.

"Tomorrow's the yuuei entrance exam, right?" Naomosa asked the hero as they made their way to the storage house while checking if their is anyone in the surrounding area.

"Yes. It's a nightmare." The hero replied tone clearly not amused.

"Oh come on! Don't you miss supervising a group of hormonal teenagers with superpowers?" The detective teased while he received an eye roll accompanied with a groan from the said hero.

They stepped inside the building noticing the pile of beat up men in the center tied together.

"Don't remind me. All of the free time I had last year will be full again." The hero got a headache just remembering the applicants last year. How their was no potential in any of them, complete disappointment. He expelled them all.

"If they survive the first week with you." The detective said, amusement in his eyes.

They approach said pill to find a black card with neat white writing addressed to him and the pro hero as usual.

"Hey detective~ I found these very naughty boys that decided to play with me! Of course I agreed but turns out I play too rough ; (

Your clue for the day ;p

A star shines brightly while staring at the sea. It stands their alone waiting for company

This one is easy enough. Ain't that right Eraser?

Love,
your favorite nuisance Ghost!"

They stop a moment to think about it... the vigilante always gives them clues to find him.

The last clues they found about him were all due to games He played before. He always wait for them in the location he gives them but they always seem to miss him.

"A star shines brightly while staring at the sea... a star.... stares at the sea.....shines" the detective mumbled while scratching his chin.

Suddenly the hero's eyes widen with realisation!

"The shinning star Caffè that is in front of the beach. It a 24/7 coffee house. I used to go their for breaks on patrols."

They rush out of the storage house, to get in the police car while Aizawa gives direction to the place.

They rush in there as soon as they arrive. And start looking around for the vigilante. Suddenly they hear their names being called out.

"Tsukauchi and Aizawa! Your orders are ready!"

They look at each other, confusion locked in their facial expression.

They head to the pick up station of the Caffè to find to cups of coffee waiting for them. They pick them up and start questioning the only worker at this time about the guy who ordered this.

"Oh that Charming fellow! He came here with a mask and a hood and glasses Gave me his order and sat there waiting five minutes before paying and leaving" the worker said with dreamy eyes "he was very nice and funny! May I ask why are you looking for him? and can you give me his number if you guys are acquainted?"

Both guys look down, frustration prominent on their features.

"Son of a bit-"

----------------------

"Promise me you will still try to be a hero" a soft female voice spoke with a lot of gentleness.

"Why?" He replied sounding surprised and upset. Did she not believe in him?

"Because" she replied "you are fighting for a big cause, you are here to make a difference, and since you are in the 'opposite' side of the law they will dismiss all your hard work and your message." she smiled softly while looking at the starry night.
"Be a hero! Fight the system while being inside the system! They cannot ignore or dismiss you then by saying you are in the 'immoral and evil' side of society.... plus...." she looked at him, her brown eyes shined with hope "you still want to be a hero.. a symbol of justice and equality!! And when that happens I will be your number one fan!" She winked at him.

He blushed a deep red at that last statement and let out his signature smiles that can light up the world.

"And always remember" she ruffle his soft green curly hair. "You better Wreak havoc!" They both said in unison.

At the moment, in the mountains looking at the stars with his amazing mentor, everything felt right.

Midoriya Izuku gasped as he woke up today, hot tears slipping his face, he had another dream of his..... it easy and odd one too, Maybe it's because of last night's previous events.. or maybe because of what is going to happen today. He wasn't sure.

He quickly got out of bed and went to take a warm shower to clear his head out.

Today was the day to prove that he, a useless deku, is going to be a hero and reshape the disgusting system from the ground up. And of course cause chaos will doing so! Shameless! Unthinkable! And a way to spite everyone in this fucked up society!
That seems to describe him perfectly.

He smirked at that thought.

He quickly got dressed and shoved his phone in his pocket with his extandable staff. he wasn't nervous he was going to crush these exams for his master and he is going to do it while wreaking havoc. And if he did fail, he had his other work!

he wore a black hoodie black sweatpants and his enhanced boots that he made with scraps from the Dagona beach trash as a way to practice his inventions, build muscle mass and clean it. all in all, help the community and himself.

he got all of his special items approved a month ago to use in the exams. They stood no chance.

he got out of his apartement heading towards Yuuei ready to tka them by storm! but after saying goodbye to Aiko oba-san.

Aiko oba-san was an old lady that lived next door who is also the landlord, she was an old lady who always checked on the 15 year old and gave him her leftover dinners annd breakfast. She had pink hair, silver eyes and a small frail body. She knew his master and him before her.... (she didnt know what they did exactly ) and she took care of the boy and gave him a job in her grocery shop while his 'mother' is in the 'hospital'. he was very grateful for her exictense.

he knocked on her door and she opened.

"hey Oba-san! Today is Yuuei entrance exam!"

"I know! Good luck, and give them hell sweetie!!"

The boy cheered before continuing his way to Yuuei.

Oh the fun chaos that will be brought forth by him.

They should kiss the peaceful days goodbye!

Somewhere, in a very tall building, in his desk. A mouse-dog-bear thing cackled evilly. His animal senses tingles with excitement. A very entertaining storm is coming. And he will do whatever it takes to solve its mystery.... he Just needs to know who is it....
