A Sunshine I Wanna Keep And I'd Really Try to Keep But I'm an Idiot and Suck at Expressing How I Love You.

Chapter 19: Chapter 18.

Chapter Text

Once Aubrey left, me and Sunny decided it's be the best idea to take showers, remnants of glitter stuck onto our faces. I'll admit, it was adorable, him covered in glitter, but we agreed it'd be better if we got it off.

Hero kept eyeing me, I was curious to what he meant, though was unsure if I should question him. Hero was always the type to easily be able to speak with his facial expression, I had always learned how to read it all, but this time, he had this subtle, cheeky grin on his face.

When Sunny got into the shower, I heart a faint creak of the door. I was greeted with Hero peeking inside.
"Ey, little bro!" His smile was soft.

"Ello!" I replied.

"Can I ask you something real quick?" I nodded in reply to his request.
He paused for a good moment before continuing.
"It's Sunny, isn't it?" He questioned with a soft chuckle.

"Whatcha mean?" I tilted my head to the side in slight confusion.

"As in who you like."

I paused for a brief moment, I could feel my ears burn from embarrassment.
"M-Maybe!"

He chuckled in reply, messing up my hair as he put a head onto my head.
"I made sure mom and dad let y'all sleep." He winked with a grin as he walked out.

It didn't click for a good few moments, before I realized that he likely had seen Sunny and I. My face was bright red from embarrassment as I paced around the room. I heard a small chuckle from the doorway. A much soggier, fluffy haired Sunny was giggling at my embarrassment. His clothes were all baggy, it all looked so cute on him- at this point I'd probably say anything looks good on him though. He's just stunning.

He approached me, standing on the tips of his toes as he gently planted a kiss on my cheek. My heart skipped a beat. He didn't say any words, but I could tell that it was his sweet way of telling me it was my turn. He had this soft grin on his face, it highlighted by the faint red on his cheeks.

"Not as much glitter on your face now!" I teased, cupping his face with a dorky grin.

"It's all over your face." Sunny commented, amused.
"Glitter boy." He teased in retaliation.

My reply was a chuckle.
"Oh shaddup, Sunshine." I teased with a grin. He returned the smile, his much softer and gentle.
