He had a lot of questions about what was going on, but if he got to answer them while staying under an umbrella while holding his crush’s arm, he wouldn't complain at all.

Or that’s what Jiang Wanyin, Sandu Shengshou, was thinking before finding a weak, crumpled (yet alive) body in one of the besieged areas right after the Sunshot Campaign. A painfully familiar body, which he took in just like he did before. A body, a soul, who used to smile like a morning winter sun, yet inside those eyes there were burning flames, like a hot, dangerous summer day. Those days that the sun was impossibly brighter, and the lotuses were impossibly beautiful. Summary
After a horrendous chapter of our lives (or various ones, depends on the person) it's hard to move on and open up.
They both hopelessly look for the missing family, the missing love, until fate puts them together again to let them know that they're not alone.
Nie Huaisang and Jiang Cheng learn about it with each other's company and presence. That there's still hope, that they can heal with time and care, that they can find in each other the brothers they had lost... or even something deeper and loving than that.
A story about healing, redeption, forgiving and giving love while feeling loved again, in the aftermath of times of downfall.

Piandao sighs upon receiving the email on his phone two days after he saw Sokka, then slid a pouch with ten gold pieces inside, to Iroh's side of the table.
“Hm, what is this for, my friend?” Iroh asked, grinning as he placed a tile in an empty space that deemed his victory.
Piandao grunts, then leaned back on his chair. "How did you know they’d click?”
Iroh shrugged, taking his pieces back and setting the board up once again for another round. “Instinct is a thing you build from constantly being surrounded by college students with hopeless romanticism, my friend,” he said, as he watched Piandao placed the last tile on his setup. "So, when is their next date?"
Piandao sighs once again, and moved his tile first. "Well, I hope it's not during their midterms."
