Summary
Rosemary (or Romeo) is an aspiring boy who moves to Striaton city, Unova, in order to chase his dreams of becoming a Pokemon connoisseur. Upon arriving, he's hit by the realisation that in order to become a Pokemon connoisseur, you need to have some battling experience and knowledge, which he unfortunately lacks, so he finds himself stuck in Striaton city until he can raise the courage to go and gain experience.
Upon his stay in Striaton city, he encounters the Striaton gym leaders and upon first glance falls head over heels for Cilan. Meanwhile, Cilan's brother Chili has found himself catching feelings for Rosemary and is willing to do anything to draw his attention away from Cilan, even if it means making an utter fool of out of his impulsive self and annoying the living daylights out of the subject of his interest.

Due to the busy Christmas season, a sweet shop decides to innovate and launches the Lucky Doll, which consists of a traditional gingerbread cookie holding a piece of paper.
Rin is an employee of this store and receives one of these dolls from her boss, which contained the following message: “someone important and special from your past will return to stay”.
Because she doesn't believe in messages coming from fortune cookies, after all she had read hundreds throughout her life and none of them came true, Rin doesn't care and even throws the paper away. However, there is something magical and special about Christmas time and she discovers this the next day, first thing in the morning, when the first customer walks through the store's door.
