Two weeks has passed after the incident; Two weeks Feng Jiu hadn't meet Dong Hua. The only thing in her mind was about her feelings to the god. Shouldn't she not be able to feel any emotions? Last time she checked, love was an emotion and she shouldn't be able to feel it! Especially not to the all-mighty Dong Hua Di Jun. The one who had made her remove her name from the rock because they weren't fated.
Feng Jiu was puzzled, confuse, happy, sad. So many emotions crashing into her that she can't handle any of it! It was striking her repeatedly, not letting her take a break with the feelings she's suddenly having. Then worry struck, is Dong Hua okay? The last time they had kissed and being close in the mortal realm most of his powers were gone!
This won't do. The little queen immediately teleported to Fate. She needed an explanation, this wasn't in the deal.
"Fate!" Feng Jiu cried out for her, her tone filled with desperation. "Yes?" The familiar voice rung in Feng Jiu's ears.
"Feng Jiu is here to ask a question, I wonder if Fate already knows what I'm going to ask?" The goddess said, more like questioning Fate. Fate sees and knows everything so it doesn't shock her when Fate says that she knows what Feng Jiu and Dong Hua had done and how she is feeling emotions again.
"Why? But we had a deal-" Before Feng Jiu could question Fate anymore, the feminine voice cut her off, "I took pity on you. Your love was so strong for each other that it hurts to see you two not happily together. It is rare for two people to love each other so much."
Fate's words made Feng Jiu flushed pink. Is their love that strong to conquer Fate? Now that's something Feng Jiu couldn't believe in all her years of living. It was embarrassing even to have Fate know how much she loves Dong Hua but knowing he was crazy for her as much as she is to him make her proud, an ego boost. Dong Hua who had not loved anyone in all his years living but when he does, it was her and he was genuinely in love with her. The thought warms up her heart.
"He and I had also made a deal you see. If he succeeded to let you feel emotions and have you fallen for him again. You two can live happily together. So it seems his love was so strong for you that it worked. Congratulations Queen of Qing Qiu, he's a keeper." Feng Jiu can practically hear the smirk in Fate's voice. "Feng Jiu thanks Fate for your blessing," the girl bowed.
"Well now that you got the answers you need. You should go and talk to him."
In a blink of an eye, Fate teleported Feng Jiu to Tai Chen palace.
Hurt was what Dong Hua felt. Two weeks has passed and he couldn't help but overthink. Yes, the Dong Hua Di Jun is overthinking about some girl, no, she wasn't just some girl; She was Dong Hua Di Jun's love, the only girl that succeeded stealing his heart then crush it.
His mind wondered, was it cause he kissed her? Was he a bad kisser? Or was it because she dislikes him? What was it?! It frustrated him to not know what the answer is and Dong Hua Di Jun knows everything so this was a foreign feeling. He hated and loved this feeling. This was another feeling that only the Queen of Qing Qiu can bring out of him.
He loved how he let his mind wondered, maybe it was because she was embarrassed? Maybe she was embarrassed about how she actually liked the kiss? She did look red and she did reciprocated.
A sigh escaped his parted lips, it was a mix of frustration and lovesickness mix in it.
The sound made Si Ming jumped. Ever since that night Si Ming couldn't look at Di Jun the same ever again so he quietly and quickly went out the room when he heard Di Jun made a noise. He really can't look at him the same again.
As Dong Hua was thinking with his chin rested on his palm, a slender figure appeared on his lap, straddling him. Her arms were gripping onto his shoulder, balancing herself.
"Oh?" That was what Dong Hua had manage to make out of when he sees the girl he was yearning for, for two weeks. He silently cursed himself for being so hopeless in romance. He wanted to say much more things that just an 'Oh?' He wanted to tell her how much he loves her, how those part two weeks were such hell to him, how much he wanted to go to Qing Qiu to find her but is scared, yes, the Dong Hua Di Jun was scared to go to Qing Qiu to find their beloved Quee; Scared that she doesn't want to meet him but now she's here, on his lap.
Just then Si Ming walked in to give his master a cup of tea, only to see her highness rested on Di Jun's lap. Si Ming yelled apologies for interrupting their 'love making' and rushed out the room making both Dong Hua and Feng Jiu blush.
"I-Um-Maybe I should go," Feng Jiu stumbled on her sentence, avoiding eye contact with the older man. Dong Hua raised a brow, "It's been two weeks since you ignored me. Why are you here now?" There was some anger and sadness in his tone making Feng Jiu frown and squirm on his lap from the intense gaze Dong Hua is giving her. "I..." the girl can't seem to say it, she wanted to but was scared, maybe he got tired of her? No, they were just excuses for her to not confess because this was humiliating for her.
Feng Jiu fiddled with the hem of her dress, muttering and mumbling incoherent words, not meeting Dong Hua's stern gaze.
"Come on, spit it out. What is it do you wish to say?" His tone was low and husky, whispering into her ear making Feng Jiu shiver on his lap. "I love you."
Dong Hua was taken aback but was quick to his normal cool composure. Feng Jiu hesitantly glance at his expression to see him furrowing his brows, the girl gulped before uncertainly continued, "And I know you feel the same so..."
"So?" Dong Hua said with a smirk and a raised brow, his arms wrapped around her waist to pull her closer to him making Feng Jiu yelped. "So we should..."
"Should?" Dong Hua asked, once again smirking, teasing her. Feng Jiu groaned, hiding her face into his chest, "This is so embarrassing! You're doing this on purpose!" Her words were muffled by his chest but he heard her clearly.
Dong Hua smiled, rubbing circles on her back. Feng Jiu then got pulled away by Dong Hua, the girl glanced up at his smiling form making Feng Jiu's heart flutter. His smile was always so handsome. With confidence, Dong Hua lifted Feng Jiu's chin before connecting their lips together, their tongues dancing with each other. The kiss was feverish, filled with need and want and love. Like they yearned for this moment, those short kisses were not enough, it was never enough so when they have each other now with no worries about Fate, they can finally kiss each other with so much passion and love.
The two parted lips, catching their breath before looking at each other and smile. Feng Jiu giggled throwing her arms at him, hugging him tight as if he would leave him, as if she's scared that this was all a dream and she would wake up one day so she decided to tightly hung onto him.
As if sensing her thoughts, Dong Hua rubbed circles on her back again. "This feels like a dream to me too Xiao Bai. Every night I dream of this moment and I can assure you that this is real. I love you."
His words made Feng Jiu smile even wider like a Cheshire cat. This was the happiest moment in her life!
"I love you more," Feng Jiu said, looking at him with big doe eyes making her look irresistible, she has always been irresistible to him.
"Let me show you how much I love you Xiao Bai," Dong Hua said in his hoarse voice just like how Feng Jiu like so much. The older god brushed a piece of hair to the side to have a better look at her, "You're beautiful."
After complimenting her, he teleported both of them on his bed, using his magic to lock his room door making Feng Jiu giggle. "Someone is eager," Feng Jiu said, smirking.
"You have no idea how much I've been waiting for this moment. I want to express how much I love you because no matter how much I tell you I love you it can never be enough. I feel like I'm going to burst because there is no words that is fitting to tell you so I decide to show you." Those were the most words Feng Jiu had heard him say. Before she could say anything, he kissed her again, this time short and sweet. "No more talking, let's get down to business."
Mi Gu couldn't believe what he's witnessing. The Dong Hua Di Jun and his Queen, Bai Feng Jiu was holding hands proudly and her normal emotionless self was replace with a grinning Feng Jiu, just like the Feng Jiu before she had remove her name from the three lives rock.
"Xiao Jiu!" Feng Jiu heard her uncle cried out. "Fourth Uncle!" The little queen cheerfully ran to him, hugging him tight. "Our Feng Jiu is back," Bai Zhen said, smiling as Zhe Yan looked at them fondly. "Indeed, our Xiao Jiu is back."
Suddenly everyone from the Bai family had teleported there, just to see their Xiao Jiu. "Xiao Jiu!" Bai Qian said, hugging her beloved niece. All of them hugged her, finally having their Xiao Jiu back with them. As if just realizing Dong Hua was there, staring at their family time, Bai Zhi quickly went to thank him.
"If there's anything you want please tell us!" The old fox told the older god, before Dong Hua could say anything Bai Qian piped out, "If he hadn't lead Xiao Jiu on then Xiao Jiu wouldn't even have to remove her name from the three lives rock and lose her emotions," Bai Qian scoffed as her family members gave her a warning and stern look making her roll her eyes. Ye Hua shook his head, patting her back to comfort her.
Dong Hua didn't feel offended, what she said was right. He did make Feng Jiu suffer a lot and if it wasn't for him Feng Jiu wouldn't have remove her name but then again, if he hadn't 'lead Feng Jiu on', Feng Jiu and him wouldn't have been here now, hand in hand going to propose a marriage for Feng Jiu and him. If anything he is happy he had 'lead Feng Jiu on', they both suffered but it was all worth it.
"Well Bai Zhi, the only thing I want is your granddaughter's hand in marriage."
Gasps echoed in the fox den, the cup that Mi Gu was holding fell. Glass was all over the floor but Mi Gu quickly snapped out of it and cleaned up. "Why of course! What do you think Bai Yi?" Bai Zhi asked his son, "Y-Yes!" Feng Jiu's father agreed, shock that the most powerful god actually wants his beloved daughter, even more shock that Feng Jiu manage to bag the all-mighty god home and that this powerful god will be his son-in-law!
Feng Jiu cheered, jumping into Dong Hua's arms making her mom and grandmother tear up as the others just smiled at the public display.
They had both suffered but it was all worth it when they have each other now.
"I love you so much."
"I love you more."
