Summary
Regulus Black doesn’t believe in second chances. He believes in silence, in control, and in pretending he’s perfectly fine. Then his brother’s engagement drags him to a sun-drenched Italian villa filled with old friends, too much wine, and one man he’s spent two years trying very hard not to think about.
James Potter once blurred every line that friendship was supposed to hold. Then he left, and Regulus taught himself how to live without him. Now, two years later, they are sitting across the table, laughing in the same sunlight that used to fall across Regulus’ sheets.

Regulus hated his job. Ok, that wasn't entirely the truth. What he hated was the bar. It was full of college students, middle-aged men with no family and then there were the men around Regulus’ age who hit on everything that moved. Regulus didn’t like anyone who came into the bar. They were too loud, trying too hard to have a good time.
But the worst person he had to deal with that he simply wasn’t able to get rid of was James Potter.
