Summary
Even without taking the ace thing into account, Stiles had always been different from everyone else. Since the moment people turned fifteen and the words on their wrist appeared, they became obsessed with the idea of their soulmate. They talked about how reassuring the words were, how they helped keep their spirits up and got them through tough times, knowing someday they’d get to meet the person behind them. Someone who would love them unconditionally and complement them in every way.
But Stiles’ words had never given him any such comfort. They were instead a daily reminder that the universe had made a mistake, and there was no one out there for him. Being with his soulmate was out of the question and trying to date while knowing people would eventually leave him for their other half was just depressing—well, either from that or from the no-sex thing.
They all led to the same ending.

Summary
“Do werewolves get erectile dysfunction or does the super healing thing take care of that?” It was out of the blue. Classic Stiles.
It was also the first clue. And Derek missed it completely. Later he would blame it on being half asleep. But instead of realizing something was wrong, Derek just blinked at his boyfriend stupidly. “All I asked was how many pieces of bacon you wanted.”
Stiles shrugged.
Derek turned back to the bacon, rolling his eyes where it couldn’t be seen. (Though, he did suspect that Stiles would know anyway.) “You do realize there’s no universal experience for werewolves, right? And seeing as I’ve never experienced that before…?”
Stiles laughed, high and forced (not that Derek registered that.) “Right. Right. Of course. Just curious. You know how it is.”
There was a jump in his heartbeat but Derek was too sleepy and focused on the food to recognize it for what it was. (He really should have realized something was up.)
