There was a lot of speculation as to why exactly Andrew Minyard and Kevin Day did not last longer than one week as a couple. Their hearts each hold a piece of broken rope that was once whole but now needs something strong to hold onto each piece so that they can be together. What should be a classic best friends becoming lovers story has been put on hold indefinitely until they can figure out what it is they need to mend their pieces.

It’s the last summer Neil can spend with his friends before they move on to college, so the obvious thing to do is rent a cabin in the middle of nowhere for a few days. There’s only a few problems with that: Kevin and Andrew aren’t exactly ‘outdoorsy’, there’s only one bathroom, and Neil is pining.
Pining? No, he meant he can’t stop thinking about how all his friends have graduated - that’s why he keeps thinking about Andrew.
