The Hero, The Princess, The Calamity.
Aryll knows that she is not important, because she knows what important people look like. They look dead on their feet, they die the day the world reveals their importance and then they then become wandering corpses. He brother is important and she wishes he'd remained unimportant, like herself.

If Nintedo had asked me to write Age of Calamity, but I don't have the faintest actual clue what happens in Age of Calamity and am stuck in the past where Link had a sister that was super adorable, Wind Waker my beloved.

I need morally ambigious/good Ganondorf hanging out with Aryll rep. The chapters are deliberitly so short, so I can maybe finish this before TotK takes up all of my life haha, they're short but dense <3
Edit (14-11-2024): Chapter one through six have been revised, they did not change in any significant way, I just didn't like some paragraphs anymore and changed them.

Summary
It must be hard, Link mused, on that high horse King Rhoam had found himself on. The men and women that advised the old King had all agreed that the Desert King must be a horrible brute that must be confined and observed. 10 years now there had been tensions, rising and building in the wake of a male Gerudo having been born. At first everyone had been royally pissed that the Gerudo dared to keep their son a secret, though the women denied that a babe was anything but vehue and there was no reason to announce that.
Zelda had explained to Link that the Gerudo considered children free of gender, and only once one has passed childhood did they become vai or voe.
Though, obviously, the latter was a much rarer occurrence.
