Summary
JJ finally makes it to her seat and leans her head back to catch her breath. Her mind wanders to the stunning woman that had given her the greatest weekend of her life and the way her dark hair so elegantly fanned out across the stark white of the hotel room pillow. She feels a pang of regret for leaving without saying "goodbye", but knows it was for the best. When the plane takes off to take her back to DC, she finally lets it hit her that she may never see her again. JJ jams the heels of her hands into her eyes to stop the tears that are so desperate to fall. Worried that she may be making a scene to the people sitting next to her, JJ takes a deep breath and drags her hands down her face and feels something hard rub against her cheek. JJ's eyes go wide as they fall on a delicate gold band sitting comfortable on the third finger of her left hand.

“You know,” Penelope rolled her eyes. “I always thought she’d be the one to make one of us fall in love with her. When I realised she was dating someone, my first reaction was to look for other people in the team who might have shown signs of a romantic entanglement. However, nothing changed between her and the others – including you – so I quickly dismissed that theory.”
Emily’s heart lurched a little at that, even as she told herself that there had been no reason for anyone to notice anything. She had been very careful not to let her feelings show; she had kept things as platonic as JJ had wanted them to be when they were at work, had never even hinted at having feelings for their liaison. She had been the perfect secret keeper and apparently, no matter how good JJ was at lying, Emily was better at pretending.
Or: Emily is tired of having to keep her relationship secret, and it has nothing to do with jealousy. Nothing at all.

The BAU has a new agent assigned to them against their wishes. After-all they don't need a new agent, especially one with a file so classified they can't see anything but the agent's name in it. But Strauss's orders are Strauss's orders. It would help if this Daisy would stop taking stupid risks and acting like she's bored. Of course Daisy really is bored and isn't exactly allowed to mention that after fighting aliens, Inhumans, and Hydra, dealing with regular serial killers is kind of low stakes.

Summary
Gibbs has left for Mexico, and Tony’s gut is telling him he’s in trouble. Abby is too distracted by her grief for Gibbs to back Tony up, so he decides to go to the most Abbish person he knows for help: Penelope Garcia. Abby introduced them after the two women met at a forensics seminar for federal agents. So Tony asks Garcia if she will do a little digging, but bringing Garcia in means bringing in other members of the BAU. After all, if Garcia thinks a friend is in trouble, she’ll always turn to her Derek, trusting him to do the right thing. Tony just isn't sure that having Derek Morgan on his side is going to help when he has a director making unreasonable requests, a team doing the minimum required for their job and an overwrought Abby to deal with.
