Baekjin bolted for the bathroom, stood before the mirror and the reflection struck him like a physical blow.
Baku stared back at him. Baku's dark eyes containing Baekjin's panic. Baku's mouth slightly open in Baekjin's shock.
He wasn't going to pretend he didn't understand the concept of body swaps but those were usually seen in fiction. The only realities Baekjin had ever believed in were death and body possession. Was he finally dead? Did his soul decide to latch onto Baku and torment him like he had planned to? How much would Baekjin be allowed to control the other's mind? Because right now baku’s body felt devoid of the other's presence.
"Baku?" dumbly called for the other to the mirror and no voice answered from the depths. And Baekjin was convinced either he had lost his mind, or he was still dreaming.
