Summary

With no family remaining her only choice is to become one of Mary's ladies and await a marriage opportunity her father would be proud of. But sometimes we make mistakes and we end up paying for those mistakes for the rest of our lives.

Sebastian is leaving the castle, though, and he has a proposition for her that doesn’t involve any more waiting on her behalf—if she isn’t afraid to take what she wants, and if she isn’t afraid of him. Knowing she needs to get away from the castle, Mary joins Sebastian in the countryside. Follows directly after the events of 1x06.
