"Seriously? He was that good?" Daphne asks, grinning.
"I mean it, Daph. There's just something about him..."
"Ok, so, what's wrong with that?"
"What's wrong is that he doesn't see me like that. The second I told him what I do, he started rambling about how he couldn't wait to hire me again."
"Oh, honey," Daphne says, her voice heavy with sympathy. She opens her arms and Justin steps gratefully into them, tucking his face into the warm skin of her shoulder to hide the tears beading in his eyes.
