This work is Judy's perspective from Sunset Grove 2077, with a huge emphasis on the romance sequence. That is a long ass fic and it's not completely necessary to read the entire thing for context, but it wouldn't hurt. If you'd like to get right to the romance, the bulk of it takes place in Chapter 50 and then through to the end. You can also go to the Untitled Redneck!V piece I did for Flufftober 2021, which is fine but the love sequence in Sunset Grove is MUCH more polished.

Summary
Sunset Grove 2077, the Appalachian Georgia What-if: Cyberpunk 2077 multiverse Redneck cousin to Night City!
V is an old-fashioned country woman who is trying to do her dang best. But after corporations start taking over the land where her family farm has been for generations, she has to make some difficult decisions that ultimately have cataclysmic results. She meets many people in her journey. Some friends, some foes, many ambiguous. But they all have an impact, and V learns tremendous lessons along the way.
Ultimately, she must decide what matters most, who she can trust, and what can she do with the time she has left.

Summary
V returns home and thinks about what happened with Judy the night before and earlier that morning. Jackie comes over and they discuss weapons and ruminate on what's next for them and their careers as mercenaries.
Judy pays V a very early morning visit.
Another job offer from Rogue finds its way to V and Jackie, and it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that is truly out of this world.
