The positives absolutely outweighed the negatives, Peter could see that Flash had been coming to terms with something, figuring out what kind of person he really wanted to be. That might be the most positive thing somebody can do.
The negative being that Peter's spank bank was dwindling.

"Flash’s brain short circuits. Because standing in front of him, dressed in nothing but a pair of red and blue running shorts, is Peter Parker. He’s all lean lines and hard edges. Broad shoulders and long legs. Heat crawls up Flash’s neck, blooming across his face as his eyes trail down Peter’s form, starting at the hollow of his throat and working its way down to where the waistband of the shorts meet warm, olive toned skin.
“Oh, hey Flash,” Peter says through a yawn.
Flash’s eyes snap back up, a mix of guilt and embarrassment burning in the pit of his stomach. But Peter doesn’t notice Flash’s not so subtle staring, the man in question blinking owlishly, rubbing sleep out of his eyes. He just stares at Peter’s arm as he does, each small movement causing his bicep to flex and relax.
Oh god, he’s so fucked."
