In which a book brings together two unlikely and deeply unsocial individuals. Although, as it turns out, the book isn't the only thing they have in common.

Summary
He allowed the tears to fall, the sobs to escape, the shudders to shake his frame, the pain to consume his nerve endings. He only startled and stopped when Law sank into the bath with him, hovering over his lap and pressing Rosinante's head against his chest.
He felt like a bit like cracked crystal, just one touch away from breaking into a million pieces, but Law's touch was a balm, fixing his cracks with gold like a kintsukuroi piece.Or: Rosinante, chronic pain, a bath, and the comfort of your loved one taking care of you.

Summary
The seven minutes in heaven protocol is only six months old, as it’s tied directly to the arrival of Roci on board. It is exactly as the name suggests, although seven minutes is a rather misleading timescale. Once it took Law and Roci nearly seven hours before they emerged from the auxiliary control room, even though the door had been unlocked the entire time. Ikkaku nearly had kittens from not being able to replace a faulty relay until they were done. However, Law literally took the entire crew for ice cream after they reappeared, so its effectiveness in lifting Law’s mood to heretofore unseen levels is unmatched.
Cora's been away on a mission, Law needs his fix, and the terrific trio will make sure he gets it at any cost. Coralaw Week 2026 day 7: pirate crew.

Summary
Cora-san’s head snaps in his direction.
It is in this exact second after Cora-san looks at him but before Law can hold back on to the railing that a rogue wave crashes into the Tang, launching Law all the way to the other side of the ship, right over the deck—
(“LAW!” he hears as though from a great distance.)
—and straight into the water.

Summary
But for some godforsaken reason, Law isn’t furious and storming away; no, his expression goes from shock to dawning glee, and then he’s laughing as Rocinante’s face catches on fire and he wishes he could melt through the floor. Law’s laugh is as nice as the rest of him, because of fucking course it is, warm and pleased and showing off sharp teeth. “Well, if your calendar is that open, let me take you to Volcano Dish. Tomorrow night at six.”
Rocinante stares dumbly as he attempts to process what Law actually means, because surely the most gorgeous man on the planet didn’t just order Rocinante on a date in thirty-six hours.
Rocinante runs into a man at the gym, somehow gets asked out, and buys the nicest underwear he’s ever owned with the goal of having it taken off of him. Coralaw Week 2026 day 6: inexperience.

Summary
It’s not that Rosinante doesn’t want to touch Law. It’s not that he doesn’t want Law to touch him. God, does he want to. Of course he does! Law is so beautiful, and strong, and amazing, and sexy, and the fact that Rosinante often has his undivided attention makes him lightheaded sometimes, so enamored that the floor wobbles under his feet.
He just needs to not get carried away when he kisses Law. Rosinante’s a grown man, he can control his urges and impulses. He spent fourteen years training with the marines and the last thirteen years being tortured in a cell, this should be a breeze in comparison! He can kiss Law without being a horndog about it!

Summary
Law senses incoming danger and shouts, "Would you still love me if I was a worm?" He immediately grabs the brim of his hat with both hands and drags it down to hide behind.
Rocinante blinks as he processes this question. Law’s cheeks go a little pink under the hat, and Rocinante is struck with a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad idea.
"Aren't you already a worm?" he asks, perfectly befuddled.
Little Law has a question for his Cora, and grown-up Law knows the answer. Coralaw week 2026 day 5: little Law.

Summary
Law clung to Cora, unable to let go even to cough. Every movement shook his bones and churned his stomach, his skin feeling both too loose and too tight at the same time. The rashes had almost taken over his hands and face, and he was sure they were even spearing to his eyes, blurring his vision.
Snow fell like walls closing in on them. What if Doflamingo got the Ope-ope fruit before Cora?

Pretty much every Tale on the Grand Line sells cigarettes, and this one is no exception, sellers hawking their wares on every street corner. What does catch Law's eye is a logo, tugging at his memories, all too familiar.

Summary
In an attempt to encourage Cora-san to start smoking less and less, Law offers himself as replacement for his cigarettes.
Cora-san sets Law back on his lap. He noses the spot right under Law’s ear. He grazes his teeth over Law’s nape and nips at the skin, trailing a path of little bites from one side of his neck to the other one. Law sighs in his arms and leans back against Cora-san’s chest.
To other people’s chagrin, this keeps happening while they’re out in public.

Summary
Cora rose. His knuckles and knees were scraped, and his arms and ankles bore the same ligature marks as Law’s thighs. He sank into the water, letting it blatantly overflow. He wrapped his arms around Law and held him in the quiet water until the water grew cold and their skin turned blue, numb enough not to feel their marks for a while.
Doflamingo lets Rosi and Law out of their cell for the day.

Summary
Cora-san buys a new lipstick that may or may not be an aphrodisiac. Law highly doubts it will affect either of them.
He watches Cora-san apply his new lipstick at the ensuite bathroom mirror. His movements are smooth, quick, a hypnotizing flicker of his wrist that Law follows as if in a trance. The color, now that it’s on Cora-san, is absolutely stunning—it brings out his eyes, draws attention to his lips, perfectly complements the structure of his face in such a way that Law finds himself breathless, all of a sudden. He’s always thought Cora-san is gorgeous, with a sort of quiet beauty and elegance to him, despite his occasional clumsiness and proclivity to spontaneously combust, but with this new shade of makeup on his mouth… Law can’t stop staring at him.

Summary
“I’m sorry,” Sengoku says heavily. “You really don’t remember anything?”
Rocinante frantically scrabbles through his mind for any memory, any scrap, any hint of what he’d been doing. But there’s nothing other than that cloud of trapped memories, low and threatening and not giving up its secrets. He stares down at his hands just for something to do and finds them unfamiliar with scars he never received. A good number of new burn scars, but also a few puncture wounds, and even something that looks like the half-moon of teeth. That one makes his stomach jerk in fear, and he wants to ask again, where is--but there is no end to the sentence. “No.”
Rocinante forgets. Rocinante-that-was doesn't. Coralaw week 2026 Day 3: Reunion

Summary
Lowborns who dared defy the World Nobles died for their stupidity. Lowborns who fell in love with a World Noble often died in their stupid pursuit. So Trafalgar Water Law, Surgeon of Death, Sole Survivor of Flevance, Warlord of the Sea, was dead either way.
In an AU where the Donquixotes are still Celestial Dragons, Trafalgar Law, bodyguard of Saint Rosinante, forms a plan to step down from his position.

Summary
Rosinante likes the Straw Hats. In small doses, they’re a fun bunch to have around, though he always tries to stay close to Law in case his sweet boy needs the reassurance that he’s not alone amongst the insane.
Having said that, he likes the Straw Hats a lot less when they just show up and take his husband away from him.
“Blues, Rosi-san,” Ikkaku chuckles, “you’re as bad as the Captain!”
Rosinante lets out a despondent whimper in response. Yeah, maybe he and Law are way too attached at the hip, so what? It’s not a crime to be obsessed with the love of his life!
