Roman hired Deathstroke for a very simple task—guard his most recent shipment and make sure no meddlesome Bats get in the way. Or it would've been simple, had one of the idiots working for Roman not spilled some of the product everywhere and caused a huge mess.
Then again, looking at the shaking form of Deathstroke on the ground, maybe this was all a blessing in disguise.
