In Klaus' defense, Stefan could easily think of six things that his best friend has done that've been way closer to causing the apocalypse than having one drunk night with Hayley and inadvertently creating the world's first tribrid. Of course, nearly every witch in New Orleans seems to think otherwise and wants the child killed before they can even be born; and, of course, this all had to happen while their family is spread out along the southeastern United States dealing with four other major problems.
Family may be Always & Forever, but that doesn't stop it from being a royal pain in the ass.

A whimsical little AU loosely based on the Bard's most magical play. Elena and Damon are in love, but since she believes that she's the only one who can quell the ripper, she stays in her make-up/break-up cycle with Stefan, who's in requited love with Caroline, unbeknownst to them both. Perhaps a little Midsummer magic in the form of a chaotic Twin Flame spell can save the day! Delena, Kolvina, and others! Ensemble cast!
Takes place right after an alternate S4, in which Freya came to the scene early, and that changed everything.
