Summary

Summary
Giyuu finds himself conflicted in this very moment, wondering what in the timeline is at stake should he strike, because the annals of history are so easily altered that Sabito is standing next to him today (his own sword unsheathed and one of his hands tugging at Giyuu’s arms so hard his fingernails are digging divots into his skin.)
He worries at his bottom lip, and registers the movement of the Lower Moon, who rudely has not waited for him to finish his rumination and was unleashing a demon blood art, whose exact skillset he does not remember but reacts to on instinct.
Giyuu is struck by immense Deja Vu as he decapitates the demon once more.Tomioka Giyuu has no intention of becoming the Water Hashira again in this bright new world where Sabito is alive.
Sabito takes in a deep breath. “WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT?!?!”
But really, old habits don't seem to die (even when he already did).
And why does the Upper Third remember his name in a world years before Giyuu('s reckless ward Tanjiro) ever gives it to him?Series

“Have you heard of the story of the two white butterflies?” Sabito asked out of the blue. He was looking out in the distance as if he was remembering something and Giyuu couldn’t help but stare.
“No,” Giyuu replied, all the other words in his vocabulary caught somewhere in his throat that he couldn’t access.
“There were two white butterflies and they were in love. They were happy and everything was great, until one day, one of them died- or almost did.

Summary
Shinazugawa and Tomioka could hear the demon let out a loud cackle, and begin to speak “Foolish hunters, thinking you have a chance at defeating me. You can’t even get through my foxes! What makes you think you could have my head if you struggle against small canids?” He mocks, his sharp teeth glistening in the moonlight as he grinned wide.
Giyuu yelped when a fox managed to grasp at his neck. “SHINAZUGAWA- THERE’S TOO MANY!” He shouted over the snarling of foxes. Out of the corner of his eye, Sanemi saw the demon stiffen.
Sanemi turned and grabbed the fox biting at Giyuu and ripped it off, tossing it towards the demon.
The demon made a loud yip sound, and the many flooding foxes suddenly began to retreat. The two looked around in confusion, watching the foxes skitter away into the many cracks and crevices around the area, and turned to eye the demon when it hopped down, off the fountain.
Both Giyuu and Shinazugawa braced themselves, but were a tad confused when the demon didn’t make a move to attack, only took slow, cautious steps forward.
“Gi-..yuu..?”
