Summary
There was a feeling Peter had that always came up when he thought about his father, warmth and the grit of sand under his fingers and a voice full of humor chasing after him. He closed his eyes and tried to bring it up, thinking maybe if he dove deep enough into it he could find something new in the clarity of the night air, but then there was a shout of “hey! Stop!” that had Peter pulling his mask back on and swinging off the rooftop, all thoughts of his parents left behind in the wind.
(tony stark's son is kidnapped at the age of two. he's spent 14 years trying to find him. during those 14 years, peter parker has been living in new york, growing up, building lego sets, acing algebra tests. and recently this whole spiderman thing, which makes everything infinitely more complicated)

Summary
Peter’s conclusion has four supporting evidence:
1. Horizon Junior High, despite not being a STEM-focused school, received an unprompted invitation to tour Stark Industries. Emphasis on unprompted invitation.
2. According to Ms. Sersi, Stark Industries’ tour invitation only specified one condition: he — Peter Parker — must be one of the attendees.
3. The AI on the ceiling only used his first name, but announced the rest of this batch mates with their full names.
4. The Avengers kept on coming up to him, all — except Ms. Black Widow and Mr. Hawkeye — with a knowing glint at the corners of their eyes. Like they knew something he didn’t.
His conclusion? They know.

Summary
Harley knows three things for sure:
1. He is the eldest of Tony and Pepper Potts-Stark’s three children.
2. His younger siblings are Pietro Cassidy and Alia Dashielle — born when he was three and six, respectively.
3. It has been years since they started a game of hide-and-seek and he has not found his siblings still.

Peter knows three things for sure:
1. He is Atasha Maybelle’s older brother and he is responsible for her unique first name.
2. They were adopted by Richard and Mary Parker when he was six and she was three.
3. He still gets nightmares about accidentally leaving— killing his sister in the dark, scary place.
(Alternatively: The usual order of kidnapped!bio-kid!Peter, with an extra younger sibling!OC on the side.)

“I lost my son and I waited and wished for that snap to get me too, but it didn’t. And now I have to live in a world without my baby in it, and apparently I didn’t lose anyone! Apparently I am one of the lucky souls in the godforsaken world who didn’t lose his reason for living and you know what? That’s bullshit!”

Summary
It wasn’t weird to think that Tony was Peter’s father. Peter had everything that a Stark should have: the mannerisms, the intelligence, the looks, the snark. So, logically, they weren’t surprised when the press started to spread rumors about Peter being Tony’s illegitimate son.
The catch? It turns out the press was right all along.

Summary
"The life-changing phone call came around noon on a Wednesday morning in early September, 2005, though he didn’t know how much it would alter his world at the time.
It wasn't until he was lying there, on the floor, peering at the four-year-old who was hiding under the bed, the child who had his eyes, who was traumatized and terrified and refused to let anyone near him, that he realized just how real this was.
He had a son."
OR
When the Parkers were killed in the plane crash, no one knew about little Peter's existence. When he was finally discovered inside the house, it was quickly clear that the enhanced child had a far-from-ideal childhood. He attacked anyone who got near, hid in small places around the house, and never spoke a word. It wasn't until Mary Parker's Will was read, and a DNA test using saliva from a water bottle to confirm, they discovered that his biological father was Tony Stark.
Tony never wanted to be a father, but there's something about this feral child who so desperately needed a home that tugged at his heartstrings.
