“A little, why, Shinguji-chan? Are you going to tell me another cool fact?” His eyes glew in excitement, looking at the anthropologist with excitement. He loved to hear him talk, to hear everything he learned.
“I was mostly wondering about your name, ‘Keiko’... It means ‘blessed or happy child’,” Korekiyo explained, “Usually, parents choose their child’s name based on what they want for their future, or based on an experience. Do you know about your case?”
“I don’t know nor I care.” He looked the other way in annoyment.
“Hm… Do you, perhaps, dislike your name? You seemed to be excited for what I had to say, until I mentioned yours.” Kokichi’s eyes widened slightly. “Am I correct?”

When Kokichi took one more step to the room, he felt his body lurch forward, and before he could even think to do anything, the floorboard on the opposite side flew upward at lightning speed, slamming against his head so quickly and so intensely that he ended up falling forward with the floorboard, the seance book slipping from his grip and onto the ground.
For a split minute, the world went dark. His head was throbbing, the area behind his eyes felt as though they were pushing against his eyeballs themselves, and his stomach churned, but he found himself unable to move. He…wanted to rest. He needed…rest.

My eyes widened again. I wasn't expecting this, is that how he truly feels? I suppose all of us just assumed that there was no effect on the boy because of the killing, after all, he was enjoying it. Or it seemed like it anyways. We never even thought about Kokichi and how he felt, it was everyone else, but never him.
