Summary
Tw: Murder-suicide at the beginning and re-occurring through flashbacks. It doesn't stick, but the trauma remains.
Kim Ga On ends Kang Yohan's life, then his own after he finds out how deeply he's been deceived. He then returns to the night of the office bombing, with Yoon Soo Hyun still alive and Kang Yohan seemingly disinterested in involving him in his vengeance.
Kim Ga On knows what will happen. He knows that following Kang Yohan will lead to him losing absolutely everything, even himself.
So why is it so difficult to walk away?

Summary
As grateful as Ga On is that Soo Hyun rescued him from Bamboo Spear's violent mob, he can tell she's lying when she claims to have heard about it on the police radio. That explanation just doesn't add up. So Ga On pressures her to tell the truth and, to his surprise, she reveals that Kang Yo Han was the one who sent her.
That one simple admission sets off a series of events that Ga On could never have predicted — events that bring out feelings he's done his best to ignore.
And desires he realizes he might not be strong enough to resist.

Yoon Soo-Hyun is just minutes too late to prevent Kim Ga-On from attacking Do Yung-Choon outside the courthouse.
Kim Ga-On spends three years in prison and is released during the worst of the economic crisis. Unable to find “honest” work, he gets a job as an escort.
Kang Yo-Han hates people, especially in large groups, where they crowd him and make suggestive comments. An escort, he finds, makes an excellent shield against some of the more persistent and inappropriate people he’s forced to socialize with. Ga On has always been known for being impulsive to the point of recklessness. But even he can admit that there are certain lines that should never be crossed, since doing so would be both impolite and disrespectful.
Excessively and inappropriately touching your boss is definitely one of those.
And yet, despite knowing that — despite being well aware of how dangerous it is to keep recklessly touching a man like Kang Yo Han — Ga On finds it difficult to stop. He knows he should, if not out of deference to his superior, then for his own sake. He can feel his self-control crumble a little more with each new touch and, in its stead, rises a confusing, breathtaking yearning he's not sure if he's ready to face — much less knows how to handle.
It feels like it's only a matter of time before his resolve shatters entirely.

Summary
Three years had passed since that incident occurred, and Gaon thought he was doing fine, but he wasn't. Working as a law professor and having Jin-joo as a support system and best friend helped until he was alone. Until he was left alone with his thoughts that only contained three things or people: Soo-hyun, Elijah and mainly,Yohan.
Knowing that Yohan was alive should be enough, right? It wasn't, and Gaon hated himself for being so selfish. The elder probably didn't even want anything to do with him after Gaon went and stabbed him in the back. He had lost the one precious thing Yohan had given him, his trust.
One day, while marking the mid-sem papers, Gaon receives a text that nearly makes him drop his cup of coffee. A text from Elijah, asking him when he was free to call. And then, in a moment that caught him off guard, Gaon felt something he hadn't felt in a long time, hopeful.
