Summary
As the Family Madrigal settles back into Casita they discover that though the miracle has been reborn, those 'Gifts' can be a hindrance to the futures they've started to envision for themselves. With Colombia, once again, embroiled in a civil war, the Encanto must contend with a new influx of refugees and at the same time help an unexpected child.
Come along as the family, (especially Alma & Mirabel) as they learn there's a trick to balancing the wants and needs of others but still allowing yourself a future.

Summary
You can see it now. Remedios Giraldo: botanist, anthropologist, explorer extraordinaire, and discoverer of magical towns made of candlelight.
Yeah, right.
....In which Reader is a hapless explorer-type looking for Encanto, but has no idea what to do when she actually finds it. Except shack up with everyone's favourite Rat-Loving Man in the Walls, of course.
Come for the Ratman, stay for the surprising amount of research I had to do to make a character sound smart.

Summary
What if Mirabel did not reconcile with Alma and her family after the Casita fell apart? What if she ran away only to end up in the Land of the Dead due to having fallen off a cliff? What if she drifted away to the shores of Mexico where a certain living boy would end up meeting her? Through a spiritual journey, Mirabel goes to find her grandfather Pedro and learn more about her family's dark past with some help from the deceased Rivera Family members along with the other residents living there. She also has to find a way back to the Land of the Living though whether she can gain the strength to keep living is another question. At the same time, the Madrigals (especially Alma) must find a way to earn Mirabel's forgiveness for hurting her all these years and driving her away right after the Casita's destruction. Will the once magical family be able to reunite with Mirabel or will she be lost to them forever?

Summary
A candle. A living house. Magical powers. A 15-year-old girl named Mirabel. Miracles can come in all shapes and sizes, and Bruno's latest miracle may just take the shape of a 41-year-old widow named Lucía and her daughter Josefina. And – uh – maybe also a horse. Summary
Bruno Madrigal is a shy man. A few months outside of Casita's walls hasn't changed that. In an effort to slowly integrate back into the community of Encanto, he returns to one of his pre-hiding habits, reading at Café de Libros, a combination shop, café, and bibliotheca for the town run by Elena Pascual, an assertive 30 something with an adventurous streak, a deep love for books and her inherited businesses, and an unfiltered temper. The two strike up a long suspected romance thanks to the interference a butcher and a parrot, but soon Alma's dislike of Elena starts trouble for the lovers. Things only get worse when the cruelty of a jilted suitor brings violence to the community the likes of which haven't been seen for fifty years.
