Aria wasn't planning to end up in Hyrule today. But then again, she hadn't planned for the apocalypse to happen today either. So she'll take living, thanks. She just hopes the Guardians she's dropped near don't undo the hard work of whoever saved her. That would be unfortunate.
Aka a Human gets dropped in Hyrule, is basically adopted by the Rito, and starts a restaurant. In that order.

Summary
Quinn is twenty, in college, and would have died at the start of the apocalypse. But, Hyrule has a population problem after the calamity, and earth has enough souls that some can…fall through the cracks to fix that population problem. All Hylia has to do is make sure that those souls reach Hyrule, and she and the other goddesses have no qualms in doing just that.
Or: a bunch of humans are yeeted into Hyrule and left to figure out how to survive in a world most only knew as a video game.

Minelle is one of the unfortunate souls who would've perished in the start of the Apocalypse... except the Goddesses of Hyrule decided to patch up their population problem by snatching some couple hundred people into a Calamity ridden world, where the Heroes should soon start fixing things. Language barriers, monsters, magic logic, what's a girl to do? At least she landed near the beach.
